Pony is always more active after training! :p he gets home and is all "Yeah Toby" and going crazy! I thought of my motivation anyway- I already am defrosting my training treats and I don't want to waste 4legs! Yeah actually mine are always super hypo after training too - but they are well behaved the following day

I guess I was vanilla amy-pie but got a bit burnt on Sunday so am now strawberry You know cake / pie / treats just aren't right on a Tuesday

Hey MM, if he wants his frisbee why don't you use it as a reward, do some short bursts of training then play frisbee. Do you do that already? I agree if he really doesn't want to tug then don't worry about it, use something he does like. And Tiggy there is no point comparing yourself to others! Each dog is different and each trainer is different. Trixie and Cider were puppy play mates and they are at different ends of the spectrum but that's okay they are in completely different situations! The only dog I compare her to is herself, and as long as she is improving I am happy. And I'm all for taking breaks from things if you need to, Every few months I have a couple of weeks off agility for whatever reason, too much to do at work, sick, school holidays, not in the right mindset, and without fail Kyzer has his batteries recharged when we go back to training.

On Sunday when I was driving home from the BBQ I was around the corner from my house and saw some people walking a Brittany pup ;) Awwwww it was so beautiful! I hope those people join DOL :D Jeepers GR I hope little Paddy was good today How is he going anyway?

I had a look in the pet gallery page, it looks like some of those pets have lost the will to live This one in particular caught my eye, her name is Lady Gaga and she even has shoes and fairy wings on Really pretty collars though, they would look nice on Trixie, can't see any martingale ones on the site though (and really don't need it anway!)

Hahahah! Labradors heads were so perfectly designed for party hats! Small terriers, not so much LOL

Use it all the time for training treats but not as their main meal. My dogs love it, I get a different flavour each time.
