Sounds scary alright, fingers crossed the radio works Ptolomy! I have a question, with Positions in Motion do you use a verbal signal or only a hand signal, or both?

Me me I am!

I recommend buying heavy duty pegs whatever gazebo you go with, I ditched the little nails my oztrail came with and bought 40cm long thick pegs, I use one in each leg and one for each guy rope, it makes a huge difference, we had a few gazebos go walkies in a bug gust of wind at a trial a few weeks ago, their little nail pegs just pulled right out, mine didn't budge and it had walls on it which would have caught air as well. Didn't twist the gazebo either although I have heard of them bending before. What size is your quikshade one PF?

You have to be a member of your state canine association before you can enter GG, then you will get a journal sent out with trial dates, details on how to enter and costs. Assuming QLD is the same as WA.

Just be aware the gaps between those weaves are 50cm, ANKC standard is 60cm and ADAA is 55cm

I actually find your 'tree hugger' label quite offensive, and I'm pretty open minded when it comes to training methods! By all means state your opinion regarding different methods, but name calling isn't really necessary. There are good trainers and there are bad trainers, whatever the method, different methods work on different dogs, Susan Garrett is a highly respected trainer who specialises in agility, not protection work. Agility is mostly trained with positive methods and that's fine because it is supposed to be fun for the dog and handler. Not quite sure what your anti 'tree hugger' post has to do with crate games anyway, which is supposed to be a fun positive way to build value for a crate and use it as a tool in agility training?

Brilliant Did she really learn that in one day? Clever girl.

Oh poor black dog! That was quick

You know what DOL can be like ! The WA thread is an exception though (probably because most of us have met IRL) (Also because we're all awesome )

Hugs to you Valley, I know you did not make this decision lightly.

A choose your own adventure book on poo :p Yes it's putting me off the lunch I will be having in 2 hours
-
But the problem there is that if their dog has always had sloppy poos then they might think that's 'normal'? Maybe you need too be more descriptive about texture and firmness This is putting me off my lunch

Stools?

Oh Sounds pretty serious then Poor Emmy.

Personally I would not be touching Patellas until the dog is fully grown - my boy had some luxation when he was about 9 months, it went away and he has since been declared fit as a fiddle by a specialist. It seems quite common that the ligaments and bones get a bit loose while the dog is growing. That's just my opinion though, I wish you and her the best, the last thing you need is more health problems with your dogs CW EW!

;) Not sure how you managed to get that :D

I just asked at Vetwest for it, they took bloods and sent it off (Parvo & Distemper from memory - Hep is sent overseas for testing and I didn't think it was necessary). I believe Ptolomy has found better cheaper ways to do it now? Can't remember, but want to get mine done soon.

I hope you weren't saying it like Polony ;)

No C5s for me thanks... I asked for the C3 and my vet was fine with it, they didn't even mention the heartworm injection, I would have declined anyway. They did tell me not to feed bones though, and to brush my dogs teeth every day (we're talking about a puppy here) Ummm, no thanks The bones will clean her teeth, not me I've decided 4legs dog roll is more dangerous than bones anyway... I gave some to my two for dinner and they practically inhaled it at rapid speed then Kyzer had a bit of a breathing attack, oh my God :D Hand feeding it from now on At least they chew bones!
-
I know, I feel so sorry for them They are locked in pen on exposed aggregate slab which isn't nice on feet.
-
:D That's not a dream, it's a NIGHTMARE!

The Toller scream is quite impressive! We have 2 Staffies behind us and they are kept outside 24/7, man they make some weird noises... sometimes they sound like chooks.
