That is such a cute photo :-) E+H don't be disheartened - TSD gave good advice but I also wanted to add Hudson may have been 'naughty' tonight because of the new environment and also maybe you were a bit nervous and he was picking up on that? Stick with it :)

Daisy.Tea - you can't buy the treats unfortunately (well you can but they will be confiscated by quarantine on the way in to Australia)
-
They said zinger but were different - yes the toy at Murdoch is the one I am trying to replace, it's nearly dead (but has had a very good innings!)
-
I think you mean the smaller Kong ones do you? We bought them from CR at the same time? Why do they have to love hard to find toys
-
Awesome - will give it a go!
-
Oh and I found one that had them (Personalised Pet Products) but the postage for 3 rings only was 70 pounds
-
Thanks Nek - the ones that do ship to here don't have it in stock, and the ones who do have stock don't ship to Aus - oh the things we go through for pets! lol
-
Thanks Sandgrubber - those ones on that link are all different - they say rubber but the one I have is yellow vinyl which I think is part of the reason he likes it more than the kong ones which he barely even sniffed!
-
Found a company who will ship overseas - brand is different but looks identical http://www.traininglines.co.uk/dog-activity-vinyl-ring-dog-toy.html The brand of this one is Trixie - it must be a SIGN!
-
I have bought the Kong ones - they are smaller and he hates them  I just found one on Amazon UK but won't ship here!
-
This is a weird one - but Kyzer has a toy he LOVESSSSSS more than anything - it is a brilliant toy I bought some years ago called a Ring Zinger - the ring bit is his constant companion, only it's looking in a bad way and is currently being held together by tape... so just posting this on the odd chance someone has a spare ring zinger sitting unused they would like to rehome, or if anyone knows where I can get one? They don't seem to make them anymore Why didn't I stock up!!! I would be happy to pay for it :)

Phew, nothing I need (want :p )

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I've never had a problem getting fur things in and I've bought quite a few over the years!
-
Gosh these guys are so adorable

They are also known as 'flirt poles' which might make it easier to search (I see it's referred to as a flirt pole in RS's link) RnH - another thing to try are the raccoon tail chasers (basically a raccoon tail on a length of rope) - Trixie goes nuts for hers and it can be whipped around like a little furry animal - I usually buy them from CR on free shipping but they don't seem to have them on CR at all at the moment - but I found them on Cosmolo's (DOLer) website http://www.underdogtraining.com.au/equipment/ under toys
-
They've started a club CC - West Coast Dog Sports - https://www.facebook.com/WestCoastDogSports They will be doing regular coursing days
-
Looks great - was going to go but wanted to do the agility trial more since I haven't had one in a while. Will definitely be checking out the lure coursing in the future though - hope Sunday is a roaring success.

My dogs have no dew claws (breeders removed them) and shock horror they manage to hold/eat bones (and toys), run and do agility just fine  I prefer them off - the everyday difference it makes to the dog is negligible and I prefer to eliminate the risk of them being injured / torn personally, plus don't have to worry about trimming them. My Tentie is quite often ripping his stopper pads from pouncing on his ball like a maniac in the back yard - if he had dew claws I'd imagine they would have copped a beating by now.
-
Have you thought about doing tracking?
-
Sorry, no dock diving, earth dog or flyball in Perth ACWA has agility classes form beginner level and up. http://www.agilityclubwa.com/ Midland dog club do training for Doggy Dancing according to their website http://www.midlanddogtraining.com/

Better stay away from a "Terrier" if you have a baby... I wonder which terrier they are referring to?
