  1. No she just gets milk, no nesting or anything, but I suppose the difference is Jenna has had puppies before so knows the drill!
  2. Sorry to hear that - hope she's back to being herself soon.
  3. I was actually wondering about that because Trixie is developing a phantom milk bar and they came into season around the same time, and I remember the season before they both had phantoms around the same time Dogs!
  4. The look on her face when she did it first go was so funny, she looked like she was concentrating so hard What a pro
  5. I was going crazy thinking I had replied to your post but it had disappeared, Vickie, until I realised you put it in Pep's thread as well ETA: I'm reading that book as well but only just to the exercises now but Trixie and I really need that one!
  6. Oh I'm currently working my way through the book - up to the exercises now - that one looks interesting. Trixie definitely needs that one
  7. Another diplomatic answer Yep way too small and bald and definitely not a gundog
  8. Caffy's video: You reminded me I did some of this with Trixie - completely forgot about it - had a bit of a 'we are never ever going to be able to do obedience or rally' moment that lasted a couple of months but feeling more inspired after training last night May get there one day
  9. I caught it with a clicker - took a while to catch it though, had to wait until she had offered her entire repertoire and was then standing looking at me She seems to understand it well though, except working on her keeping her feet completely still for longer - going to ramp it up and play heaps of steady feet games. Essier said than done though - I've seen your videos SPRINGER all right Someone with a more 'enthusiastic' dog may have a better method.
  10. On special at BCF at the moment - $179 http://www.bcf.com.au/online-store/product...118#Description
  11. I thought it was so they couldn't get stuck on the dog's tongue! Unco swimming - you should see Trixie - lifts her paws so high that she pushes herself backwards into the water I'm surprised Riverside was empty!
  12. Oh and to answer your question from the other day RS, if life doesn't get in the way was going to take both dogs down to CCC, need to get them both used to grounds other than K9, they are both a bit institutionalised Then I can watch 'Lab tested' if it's still called that. Might have to spring my mum out of jail for the weekend, If I do she can come too :D
  13. Yes we did set 2 months didn't we But I didn't even start until the Christmas break, super slack! Will have to crack them out tonight. She was doing 6 straight at home reliably but when we took them to the K9 grounds she was pretty hit and miss with them, might try her on grass again tonight and open them up a bit.
  14. I guess I would have seen results faster if I had done 3-4 sessions a day, but that's just not possible for me I have left days between sessions where life gets in the way, probably why it's taking a lot longer than 12 days :D
  15. Maybe the problem is I don't have a Border Collie
  16. TSD is on a mission to convert the whole Training subforum to working line Springers I think! And it's working :D
  17. Banjo sure does have a lot of girlfriends, doesn't he Trixie just lurves him, and she always loves Jenna too, even if Jenna kept trying to push her underneath for a drink since she is puppy sized in her opinion
  18. The dog in the DVD is a freak and progresses so quickly - I think she has cut a lot of the 'oops' scenes out. Well done with Zee, Jess And Milliemoo as well, suh a satisfying obstacle to teach really!
  19. I'm really sorry for your loss Crispy, I agree with the others, don't be too hard on yourself, you were only going on your vet's advice RIP Smudge
  20. Oohh looking forward to seeing you Lab Rat! Banjo made a liar out of Mirawee last night and was back to his perky self Winter! No way, we only just got some decent warmth, finally!
  21. Are you sure Valley??? Trixie is 10kg and 400 and I think she is too small for you I remember once at Riverside there was a Vizsla meet with crazy hyper Vizsla's running everywhere, and amongst them was a wirehaired baby, probably about 16 weeks, with a cute little beard, and I was so impressed at how calm and confident he was, just cruising from group to group, meeting dogs and peoplevery politely and getting heaps of pats, it really stuck with me! Definitely look into them! I like Brittany's too but I think the two at Nationals were pretty boisterous weren't they I liked your diplomatic Toller comment too
  22. Oooh are you moving down to our neck of the woods?! That will be good since you spend so much time at K9! It's like your second home :D Yeehar go the terriers :)
  23. Which club? SR? Or Midland? Or other :D When is Hemi doing agility, that's what I want to know :) Terriers REPRESENT! ;)
  24. plus nomination fee (I think that's what it's called)
