Nice run! Congrats on the title! Crikey the bar is being set very high already isn't it!! :p Good to see! Now Ptolomy has to enter Scoota in 3 classes again and get 200 in each
-
Congratulations, well done!! ADM, crikey! Lovely run too, and the lead out in the JDM run = Loving the Lomani videos :D Congratulations on that first OC leg Seita :D :p Great score too! I have no words - that is just insane Go Scoota!!! Huge congrats!
-
It cost me $41.25 to enter 4 classes in the agility night of the Western Classic with 1 dog, that's more expensive than normal trials though. Some of our trials only charge $5 for open which is good, I enter those just because they are cheap I'd say $8 or $9 is normal for our agility trials
-
:p That'll teach you What about just entering her in Jumping for now?
-
Just heard that a former workmate lost her entire house
-
Great work PD How terrible, hope it all gets contained soon
-
I have 4 at the moment - way too many Even if it is my 2 that stir the other 2 up
-
Noooo Trixie would love a Whippet to snuggle up with OH would kille me! Sounds like it will be a very exciting litter though!
-
Not listening not listening! *puts fingers in ears* 2 dogs is enough
-
The term started on Tuesday, not sure exactly how it works if you are coming in a bit later, but the website is here: http://www.agilityclubwa.com/ and it has the email address on there for Deb who will be able to answer any queries

That's good, I've seen some that jump at every noise / movement - but then there are dogs like that in many breeds. Is LEwis going to be the sire? You can start the basics anytime, just no full height jumping / obstacles until 12 months + Things like sit stays, recalls, flat work (going around in circles and rewarding the dog for being next to you and not crossing behind), hand touches, target touches, 2 on 2 off contacts (can use a step or piece of board). Some of us train at ACWA which offers classes from puppies to trialling level, Tuesday nights at K9. You're in Canning Vale aren't you?

Pretty sure that Ososwift's Rommi is from Whipitgood, may be wrong.
-
Some Whippets can be shy/timid, try and find a breeder that has confident ones, talk to PD8888 and try and meet Buzz, he is a good example That's is what I will be looking for if I get a Whippet in the future.
-
Happy birthday Ososwift!!!! Hope it's a great one!!!! Yep I always liked Whippies but meeting Buzz tipped me over the edge, he is just beautiful! Such a confident little guy. Hopefully one day I'll get one! Trixie is off the pain killers - she definitely has her bounce back Trying to keep her quiet with mixed results. One foot is almost back to normal - the other still bad, the swelling seems to have caused the skin to split between the outside toe and the inner toes, I keep bandaging it but the moment I'm not looking she rips it off - if only she knew how much I paid for that roll of vetwrap! ;) Keeping an eye on it, if it gets any worse off to the vet again
-
Yep she's done both back feet - outside toes are the worst Her back feet are swollen. Bugger about Kenzie - hope she gets better soon.
-
Yeah I know I usually do, but I wanted it today, work in Applecross and by the time I get home everything cheap is shut! Paying for convenience
-
Thanks so much Washa! Saves me time, need to buy some extra vetwrap too so I have spares, got one roll from Appleross vet, it was $18 The exact same bandage is $5.07 on vetproducts direct Ridiculous!
-
Thanks so much for your tips OSS! Aren't you glad Rommi's ongoing foot problems have been good for something :D
-
Thanks for the tips, I'll get some vetwrap at lunch. Do I just wrap it around, or in a figure 8 you were talking about? What is DMSO? Sorry for the 20 questions :D
-
Yes I did laugh at the intro ;) If you get the new WMM it takes MTD files
-
Oops sorry, why did one work but not the other? :D I've never uploaded MTS files directly to youtube, I put them through Windows Movie Maker Live to put titles on them and it uploads to Youtube, so easy. No agility training for Trixie for a few weeks I think, sprained toes I'm itching to get to 12 straight weavers too, dammit!
-
Must be the Whippet in her - they used them to develop MTs, that's why they have a similar shaped topline. Tell me more about wrapping - is the coflex stuff like vetwrap? I was wondering that because usually if something is swollen it gets a compression bandage but the vet didn't mention it. I agree completely Much better to see a slightly sad dog for a few days than a very sad dog for longer as they have damaged themself more. Yep I agree, when she starts perking up on the pain killers I'll take them off, but she's still avoiding walking/standing and being really quiet. Trying to find some before photos but here are some photos I took yesterday, the outside toes on each back foot are the worst. Left foot, see how swollen the outside toe is, they are usually symmetrical Right foot Fat feet Stop taking photos of my munted feet!
-
;) Woohooooooo go FHRP! Good boy Polo! Three from three, not bad!
-
The agility is on the Saturday, LR ;) Poor Trixie, I'm home now and her back feet are all fat and swollen
-
How are your lot going? All still seeming okay? Ouch poor Tobylarone! Nasty!
