I videoed the cute Foxie weaving but she isn't as bouncy as that first time Need to put it on Youtube The thought of baking anything at the moment makes me feel ill... it is my boss' birthday today and all I've really eaten is cake I did squeeze a salad wrap in at lunchtime though I'll see if I'm up for baking by tomorrow evening.

I say 40 minutes, only been to rocko twice though. Poor old Govo!
-
Woohoo won't be long until Rosie is entertaining us at trials Always happy to help a fellow terrier handler - let's face it we need all the help we can get Yes her traumatic seesaw moment, runs to the end, gets bounced off spectacularly and falls on the ground bashing her leg in the process, gets up and jumps back on the seesaw before you could even react - ahahah!
-
She is a Smooth Fox Terrier A Mini Foxie is pretty much the same as a Tenterfield Terrier with some slight differences in bone and feet really (Now a MF person will probably spring from the shadows and start a debate on that as well! ) ETA but as a Golden Retriever owner I understand oyu probably wouldn't have known
-
Mini Foxie Wash your mouth out! I bet you can probably picture it knowing how she just pogos around naturally, it was so funny - never have I seen a bouncier weaving motion
-
Last night RosieFT's dog Rosie weaved 12 slightly bent poles for the first time at training And I have to say I think it was the most adorable weaving I have ever seen She literally bounces from side to side with both front feet together through them, as if she is on a pogo stick - so funny - by the 10th one the momentum just about flings her out of the poles I wish I filmed it!! Next week LOL

So sorry for your loss Horty, rest easy Kuges, I'm glad I had the chance to meet your special boy. Thinking of you. -
What secret? I don't take Chromium pills!
-
You can have some of my seratonin RS, I think I have too much at the moment
-
Magic pills, he called them I very rarely get sugar cravings now that I barely eat any sugar, so I guess that means my Serotonin levels are okay? LOL
-
True, my brother was given Chromium tablets from his naturopath and he said they stopped his sugar cravings completely
-
I know :D :D That's what I was thinking The two Papillons at the start were pretty good at it though
-
What the :D Why would you even ettempt to do that, of course the dogs will go crazy
-
I want to but I'll be in Europe!!

Bugger Piper, those pesky girls! Puppies are exciting though! Well I tried the head straight thing and it worked first go!! I had a straight line of three jumps and when I ran along and consciously kept my head straight and didn't look at her she actually ran along the line of jumps dead straight instead of pulling into me!!!! Lightbulb moment over here
-
I'm going to try this, I subconsciously look at my dog and I think it's part of the reason she pulls toward me, never noticed it until this was brought up in the agility thread.
-
Hmmm maybe I am. Now that you mention it it had improved when I know I didn't look at her a bit later, but I had to ask someone else if she had done it right Shoulders turning in maybe? I have done a few things like put a toy / food after a jump and have her run to that instead, could probably do with a lot more of it though. Is that the type of thing you mean?
-
Any tips on getting my crazy dog to focus on doing things instead of looking at and jumping on me? Should I move the reward off me or something? She will do a few jumps / obstacles then jumps on me and I suspect it's because she usually gets rewarded with food from my hand? If I'm running at the time it takes all my effort not to trip over the little bugger! Has anyone had a similar problem?

So sorry CM Thank you for sharing the photos
