Oh wow I wish I never read that :D

Eeesh those horse agility clips gave me the heebie jeebies too, knowing how much emphasis is on safety in dog agility

Ugh double headers are so exhausting. Don't know if I'll do many this year. They just wipe out the entire day! I'm sorry but I'll be on my way from Ireland to Amsterdam on that day

I like the Gripsoft ones, I have a small and medium pair - the small ones are like little scissors and are good for getting sharp corners off.

You mean Ego Bay Have you been to Augusta? Apparently it is very nice and unpretentious - I've never been there though. -

Great photos! Funny, my parents went on a trip down south over the weekend and they went to all the same towns and places as you Except Eagle Bay -
Oh shit, poor you and poor Scoota I hope he recovers okay and has no lasting effects. Give him a pat for me. At least the C word is ruled out. Thanks for letting us know, you have both been in my thoughts all day. I have a half shaved dog too but you can't tell as much with mine Poor Trixie is so doped up.

Oh gosh I'm so sorry for your losses dobesrock

Oooohhh I would so be up for puppy cuddles!! ;) You would have to get a girl wouldn't you? And hope Scoota is feeling better and you have some answers soon Ptolomy.

:p Talk about 'the show must go on' My dog would have given me the middle finger if I tried to make her do that in those conditions Jedi did very well, as did all the dogs, I cracked up at the Sheltie who didn't want to retrieve the dumbbell though. -
Well done Dasha! Good luck this weekend too!

Ahh, those pesky toes. Hope she recovers well. :p Trixie is about to have a big break from agility training - She is getting spayed on Thursday, I'm expecting it to take 4 weeks or more before she can do agility again, and in 5 weeks I am going overseas for 5 weeks! I expect she will be pretty rowdy by the time I get back! Kyzer will love the break, he's always so much more enthusiastic after a holiday. They are staying with my mum for the 5 weeks and I am going to have to have stern words with her to make sure she doesn't turn them into kegs on legs by the time I get back

Oh no what's happened to Shine? Has she been injured? Wow sounds interesting LOL - but challenging!
-
I haven't tried it but I did see it and it looked tricky! (guessing you mean the 6th April one?) Which bit is getting you stuck? I don't like 3 to 4 in either of them and I don't like tunnels next to obstacles in general

Norman No mates ;) Never heard that one, we always say Nigel No Friends Which is what I will be at the agility trial this Sunday

I had an enjoyable weekend at the State Trial, Saturday was not too bad, it was stinking hot, missed both contacts in excellent agility and jumped off the table (that's a new one ) then in JDX I lined him up at the start line and there was a huge ant nest there and he was bitten on the foot! Looked painful for the poor boy, so we left the ring before we even began ;) Sunday it was a lot cooler (thank God) and we managed to run clear in ADX although it was horribly slow (yet still 12 secs under SCT - amazing ) with some sightseeing from the top of the A Frame and bird poo sniffing on the DW, but we got there in the end That is his first ADX pass and got us through to the final (the only 300 dog that went through surprisingly) JDX wasn't too bad, still slow for Kyzer and he wasn't quite with it but we ran clear and came first in our height! Getting his JDX title!! For the finals - he looked reluctant to leave his comfortable crate, I wasn't expecting much but figured we'd give it a go - in ADX he did more sightseeing from the A-Frame (was fascinated by a big campervan that had started up about 15 metres away ) then refused the DW twice (another new one! LOL ) eventually he went over it and then went past the spread, my fault with a late front cross, and then he gathered speed (I suspect because he knew he was on the home stretch and was imagining his comfy crate waiting for him) JDX he was a bit perkier and ran clean but a bit slow and came second :D So he did well for him, it's like having two different dogs though - the one at training and the one at trials! I really enjoy the state trial and sitting ringside and watching all the finals - some absolutely amazing runs that's for sure!
