  1. Well done Jess & Darcy, what a brilliant achievement, and great work with Zee too Looking forward to seeing video :D
  2. Wow brilliant work, you must be so proud Vickie!! Well done Chloe & Peppi
  3. I'm considerig doing ADAA just so were not restricted to the ridiculous miniature see saw ankc are now having and their NFC rules are much better but can't see me getting around to joining for a while. Plus the different classes confuse me! ETA also the entry costs are cheaper for adaa but I would have to drive further which puts me off a bit because I am slack
  4. Yep ours are about $8-10 here too, ouchies! I only enter two classes if they are $10
  5. Tumbleweed, Kyte is gorgeous, all the best with her I am an Aussie admirer too.
  6. Well you could buy a horse too I suppose
  7. There goes our plans! lol Does that mean you can buy a house now?
  8. Probably a Whippet or a GAP Greyhound, love them. Easy to groom, not too energetic, lovely sweet souls. Not a Manchester Terrier that's for sure, mine is way too hypo ETA I was also thinking JRT because I love them but I think they are too energetic too!
  9. That's a good point DC and I was thinking about that last night when we were doing the seesaw, first time she flew off the end (unusual) but landed on her feet and it was only about a 60cm drop, kept her going over it and she was fine but it got me thinking about how important it is to set a dog up to recover from things like that, keeping it happy and normal and not panicking(easier said than done sometimes lol) because they do happen on occasion I think my ideal see saw nehaviour is fast up the plank, then dog braking and flattening over the centre ready to brace for the bang, some smaller dogs don't brace for it (comes with experience too I guess) and get bounced off the end when it comes back up
  10. Yep my boy dog has never been vetted. I've never seen anybody check how dogs are walking before. At some trials here they will vet desexed bitches as well. I use the excel multi entry form too, it's brilliant because I have it prefilled with the dog's details
  11. If your dog is a boy you needn't worry about vetting - it is to check whether bitches are in season. Don't know about over east but here in WA we have a notice in our canine journal that lists members of the measuring committee and their contact details.
  12. Well the fact that they state they believe they are covered for LIFE after the 1 year booster, I take that to mean they don't think titre testing is required. Yeah but it's Dr Jean Dodds, isn't she the reason people are doing Titres now? This was on another site with her protocol: http://www.doglogic.com/vaccination.htm
  13. Yeah it doesn't mention Titres there specifically? Maybe it was cut out. Here's the orignal thread http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/87679-vaccination-protocol/
  14. Has anyone used the three yearly C3 yet? Do you just ask the vet to order it in? Curious.
  15. Bear wasn't flown until 9 weeks though was he Tiggy? When we discussed this a few (a lot of) pages back it was decided that the AVA protocol was now another shot at 16 weeks wasn't it? This is something from a post about Dr Jean Dodds' recommendations:
  16. You can get black hawk from Wendy in Southern River, I believe Belgian.Blue/English.Ivy has had it couriered north before if that is easier for you. Think I read that it was about $5 or $10 dollars?
  17. My Manchester had milk after both of her seasons, and saggy boobs, luckily it all shrank back into place
  18. That doesn't sound normal for a JRT, they are usually such outgoing little things. Poor little Nell. I agree with Bedazzled - speaking from experience with a nervous broken terrier, I wish I had seen the signs when he was a pup and sought help. Happy birthday Bear, that year has gone fast indeed Hey didn't I see Gibbs on TV last night in a toilet paper commercial He is too cute and squishy. RosieFT - you can get dog rocks from the pet shop which you put in the water bowl which stop the lawn burning. I wouldn't know if it was a girl thing, since we don't have lawn! The pee doesn't seem to kill the weeds though, unfortunately
  19. Whippet baby!!!! Awwww he is so cute
  20. Yep that's true, they said Banjo was the blackest dog they had ever seen
  21. Fingers crossed she recovers Jules and that it's nothing serious
