-
Ooohhhh can't be long now until your holiday!!!!!!!! Ahahah you know she will come in then - Murphy's law lol
-
Forecast for Monday A few showers, heavy at times with the risk of a thunderstorm. Fresh to strong and gusty W/NW winds. Precis: A few showers, heavy at times. City: Max 23 Mandurah: Max 22 Ooohh I don't train on Mondays so never worry about the weather

Why are you mad about it?

Bugger Vickie!!!! I was talking to someone here who only needs a couple more passes for the Ag Ch... we still have 3 trials to go
-
In the trial on the weekend we had the following numbers in Masters Jumping: 600 - 3 (one BC) 500 - 23 (17 BCs, 2 BC Xs) 400 - 6 (2 BCs, 2 Shelties) 300 - 9 (5 Shelties) 200 - 1 (Papillon) In the open classes there were less 300s and more 600s, it was an expensive trial ($10 per entry) so less entries than normal (ETA - all 300 dogs in Open classes were Shelties except one Corgi)
-
Wow that's pretty good numbers for the 'minority heights'!
-
Yep we have a bit of a sheltie invasion too
-
At the moment here in Masters classes the vast majority are 500, followed by 300, 600, 400, 200 300 & 600 are very close in numbers and can swap on the day depending on who is entered.
-
Yeah she is pretty cute (not biased at all) :p
-
Trixie has no chance against a Whippy! :D I just don't want to be a loner
-
I should add that Open classes are always combined heights (believe that's an ANKC rule?) I like our system of getting Qs here, but I do think you should have to attain certain numbers of placings to get your Ag Ch title. The new rules now means you don't need to place isn't that right? You just have to accumulate points? Could be wrong
-
We still have a couple of combined heights trials, the majority are separate now though (talking ANKC agility) So we are only competing against our own height, which is great, unless you are like Trixie, who was the only 400 dog in Novice Jumping loner. I don't think we need the ABC classes here, beside the Kelpies would kick butt still anyway And in WA if you removed all the BCs there would be about 15-20 dogs

Okay here you go You can see how she doesn't like to drive ahead of me, something we are working on ATM - very motion sensitive lass going to try harder next time! I usually run deep into tunnels and accelerate out of them to speed her up as she is coming out, but forgot to do it so had no motion for the last tunnel in jumping which left her basically walking to the jump Fail She was probably wondering WTF I was doing ETA and her footwork on the weaves is I still don't know how to get her to work it out, I have opened up the weaves a million times but it just doesn't click! I was very happy with her FC onto the A frame though - normally she turns like a road train!

I'm embarrased about my bad handling

@ Mini Dobe Thanks guys! Really looking forward to this weekend! Have to say after watching the video I can see why people laugh at her when she runs She does look quite ridiculous with her high stepping front paws AD - woohoo another Debut! Congratulations and well done!!! Nice work!
-
Wow he's lovely! Looks like Gabby, I met her at the Nationals and wanted to kidnap her He got a good rhythm up! No way my dogs would do 60 poles 12 poles is a big enough ask sometimes
-
Lock me in Eddie. i think you should come with your snake-head Egyptian head piece thing, that was awesome! Then no one would want to sit near me
-
The two first places were basically by default Yeah happy with her - hopefully I'll get more confident as we go on and won't mess her up as much
-
Trixie had her agility debut tonight Two passes from two runs! Pretty happy with her - I was SO SO SO nervous for Novice Jumping, not sure why???, she ran clear, there was one part where I didn't support her over a jump and she turned into me, wasn't counted as a refusal because I hadn't told her to take it (no wonder she didn't lol - stoopid me) she was a bit flat and slow for her but I think that was from my nerves, should have them under control by next time! First place (only 400 dog ) Novice Agility was much better, she was a bit slow hitting the DW contact and a bit slow in the weaves (still working on that one) but speedier otherwise and I was a lot calmer! First place again out of 2x 400 dogs Looking forward to her next trial!
-
Yep I write on the number too - which dog it is, what the height orders are, when they are in the ring (4th 300 etc) much easier! Yeah I don't envy you there having to show and run agility on the same day!
-
The sun is out here, between some clouds, but looks like the rain has pretty much gone :D (fingers crossed)
-
They generally still hold them if it's raining, whether or not people choose to run their dogs is another matter though! According to the BOM radar it looks like we're on the tail end of it now, hopefully.

I don't think I'll ever get Kyzer up to doing 4 runs on one trial But Trixie should get there. 8 would be too chaotic for me, clashes stress me out It'a not too bad when you're in both novice classes but when you are in AD & JDX they are usually on at the same time!
