  1. I'll be in Sydney until the 18th, guess it will depend on if she would still be able to do it with a week off being biked. I'll go look at the fitness schedule thing to see what they do in the second last week bike wise
  2. Really!! Noooooooooooo pretty much no way I can do it in June It's on the 23rd June, boo boo boo.
  3. Yep Trixie. Hmm might procrastinate for a while, got til September
  4. Not sure, only arrived yesterday Thought it would be handy if I do ET and also Kyzer is foever cutting his pads open chasing the ball so can put it on after that as an antiseptic

  6. I caan't see why not, my bottle of paw toughener came through okay.
  7. My poor little Sugar Plum Hope that's the last of her problems, and glad she found something. Trixie missed her mate last night.
  8. OH no ST, fingers crossed it's nothing serious and she's on the mend soon.
  9. I wish someone would feed me baked goods and change my sheets! I want to come back as one of Bubitty's dogs in my next life! I think it depends on the dog too, if my dogs ask for something I usually ask for something from them first, like a trick etc.
  10. I cannot WAIT to see what 2012 holds. I have a feeling it's going to be my busiest Crazy Dog Lady year yet What I am hoping for, well aware that I am aiming high for some of these but why not! KYZER JDM Quallies, ADX Title [should be doable - needs two more passes I think Start training more distance work and maybe directionals and try for JDO Qs, ADO Qs But ultimately this comes down to working on our bond / working relationship / and his attitude, I am seeing good improvement lately but we shall see in the new year. This is my biggest goal - to build his confidence and desire to work with me in the ring, that is the most important! In terms of training I would like to improve: Getting him to play with me more Getting him to read my body cues properly, not go where he feels like going Get him more relaxed / less nervous at trials Getting his contacts to improve - might even retrain them Get him more confident in places other than K9 TRIXIE JDX Title [should be doable] I babysat her through Novice Jumping and I am determined to take the training wheels off in Excellent and let her go go go and really push her and me to try and get the best runs we can AD Title [One pass to go], ADX Title [should be doable also - in theory] GD Title [two passes to go], Give SD a go and also maybe SPD Start working on distance and try for JDO Title, ADO title, should be a bit difficult for the velcro baby dog Hopefully take her to Agility Nationals and have fun with her if nothing else RN title If we get enough Rally trials in Perth? And if I train the stations ET title - aiming for September but life may get in the way as per usual Continue nurturing our awesome relationship to get the best out of her and I - this is the biggest one - don't let my girlie down! In terms of training I would like to improve: Her weavers - hopefully she will sort out her footwork and speed up Increasing distance and perhaps some directionals, get her to turn away from me increase her speed going into tunnels, and onto contacts Getting her to play with me at training and trials more Get her confident in places other than K9 - maybe join ADAA to help with this ME Improve my handling of course Make the most of every moment working with my dogs Keep it light and fun and don't forget to play Build confidence in handling the higher classes
  11. Order placed 19th, shipped on 23rd. I'm still waiting for a cool coat which was shipped on the 16th though
  12. Heart murmurs are not necessarily always congenital. They can be caused by parasites such as heartworm for example.
  13. You really don't know exactly what is going on until you get the results from the ultrasound, it may not be as bad as they think. There are different types of heart murmurs and the ultrasound will find out exactly where the murmur is and the severity. It may not affect her lifespan or her life for that matter - my dog had a heart murmur picked up at about 1 year old when she was in for something else, it was ultrasounded and is very minor and they said she does not need medication and can even continue doing agility. I know it's easier said than done but try not to get freaked out before you have the results. Good luck on Wednesday, fingers crossed it's not too serious.
  14. A nice large property with a fully equipped indoor agility arena, heated pool, and a groundsmen to take care of it all and shift equipment for me
  15. I'm sure I've said it before but I love the names of your ACDs, they are just so appropriate
  16. Aww love your pic of Gabby Xena98 We have one obedience (9th dec) and one agility (10th Dec) trial for the year then that's it until late January I do believe!
  17. Awesome can't wait to see them Sounds like you're having a good recon mission
  18. Yep I sobbed too.... I seem to cry in every dog book
  19. Bugger :p I have no idea what I did with mine
  20. How exciting RV - hope you had an awesome time at the National!! Does anyone have their Canine News handy? I need to know the email address for the trial secretary for the Dobe Club agility trial to see if I can get her moved up to Excellent Jumping. Hopefully they let me.
  21. Well done on your successful night AD, nice run in that video, one more trial for us too then major withdrawals! Congrats on your SPDX Sheilaheel :D Tassie nice work with the dog food, always a bonus! I know! it was her third trial, I just can't believe how well she has transitioned to trialling, I am absolutely tickled pink. This last trial in particular her confidence was really high and she was running as we do in training. I feel like we have been trialling for longer than just three trials though! I am really looking forward to running Excellent with her next trial and taking the training wheels off to try and push her (and me) more.
