Agree! It's unusual that they have made the beach off leash, usually of leash areas are being removed not added! ETA To the OP hopefully your walks aren't disrupted too much by the change I like our dog beach beacuse it is massive and not too busy you can find a section away from other dogs

My second order got shipped last night (there was a bit of a holdup because something wasn't in stock) hopefully it gets here before the Christmas break, but I doubt it!

It's not the 16th there either - they are a day behind, sort of - it's just coming up to midnight on the 13th December there now.

Usually overnight in my experience - I replied to an email yesterday morning and they replied back overnight.
