  1. Hey B&D Welcome What area of Perth are you in? NOR, SOR?
  2. I want a Whippet - am definitely getting one, one day!! Love love love them!
  3. I have used mine a fair bit - it is a 12 inch which is good for me because my dogs are in crates on a false floor so are secured - but I recently went on a trip and needed too leave the dogs in the car uncrated and wished I had a smaller one as well - thought it is rare for me to need it.
  4. I hope they do because if it's anything like beach sand I am going to get to about 5 steps then will be too tired to go any further Hmmm may be an idea to get the dog and I used to running on sandy surfaces beforehand hey.
  5. I feel bad for Millie every time I watch that video
  6. Oohh that sounds interesting, I'd love to hear reports back about the surface and how the dogs went
  7. Has Pippa been to the beach before? Dare I ask what Cabelas is....? ETA I did have a lovely Black Dog long line but it went AWOL, think it got stolen with a bag of dog stuff I used to have
  8. Name change was already mentioned somewhere in the 41 pages RS because it annoyed me but I'm okay with it now, in fact I found this thread by searching for 'Yotubing'
  9. Interesting cross, hope she doesn't get JRT legs and a BC body Jokes :p Good luck with her I look forward to seeing her progress :D
  10. Tentie / Mini Foxie X Border Collie? The first two pics certainly look Tentie like
  11. Cuuteee! I see some Whippet / greyhound in her
  12. Trixie is a bit 'Meh' about the udder tug She would rather tug with one of my socks Don't think she likes the feel of it. They both love the Kong Wobbler though - but I taped up the hole a bit so the treats didn't empty as quickly (small treats - I use the Natures Gift cat kibble which they LOVE) Wubba anything is always a hit in this house - they love the ballistic and the friend ones especially Kyzer LOVES his medium Kong squeezz ball - it's clear - still loves isqueaks slightly more though! http://www.cleanrun.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=3031&ParentCat=30
  13. I really want to work on improving both Trixie and my fitness this year for agility, figured the ET was a good carrot to throw in there - we shall see I guess!
  14. Hmm maybe Cycling on grass is okay just kick it back a few gears and do the heaps of leg spins = not much progress thing
  15. Yeah by the time I bought a gel seat cover, speedo, lights, helmet, my $98 push bike was over $200!
  16. ST - I had one of those large pogo plush things and yes I don't get the tags either... my dogs generally start munching on the tag then continue along the toy - the poor Pogo was removed from it's furry cover surprisingly quickly! Now it is two different dog toys
  17. DSO - if I can do it (as I did with Mr Rory last year) trust me, yoiu can do it. :D Mind you, the mention of 'hilly' in connection with Canberra would put me off. The course we use down here is quite handler and dog friendly - and on a lovely sunny day, as it was in 2011, it was lovely, in spite of a very cool breeze coming off the snow :D . I really should give it a go, one problem - need a bike! Go to Big W! Mine was $98
  18. That's what I was thinking Mirawee OR "willing to work unless the weather is slightly warm"
  19. Was just updating my channel because of the new format and remembered this thread! Bumping this to see if there are any new channels out there :D
  20. Sounds about right... and I do TRY to keep those bloody nails short!! Bloody freak dog! Dunno about VERY intelligent though
  21. :nahnah: Ooohh what book is it? Does it mention that they are batshit crazy?
  22. That's nice of them though! Yeah I reckon you could - if you want to get started just get some treats and CLICK then feed her a treat several times in a row to get her learning that CLICK = right thing + reward Wish Trixie would stop and look at them she always falls down them! And the ones near RS's house where we walk sometimes have massive gaps! Popped up the coast for a few days, was interesting Labrador owner says: RFT you should know better than to complain about hair in front of Lab owners etc
