I've never been to the dog trial in Geraldton - I'm assuming the show and trials are all on the same ground? Has anyone camped there before?

I certainly am, with Trixie anyway, building up to the nationals next month. Just had to move out of home and I wasn't using the A frame since my two are both doing full competition height a frame now anyway and I have access to equipment at clubs. I've managed to get both of them over it as-is, but I've bought an extra chain to reinforce it just to be safe :) Ah great - good plan - probably fine on that lower height anyway So we'll see you in the ring soon! :D :laugh:

I would have loved to have gone to the air show but I'm going to Geraldton! Oh well next year :D

Ahh okay that's quite a way out - but there is a dog club in Midland which isn't too far away (15-20 minutes from memory) From the looks of their website they do agility as well as obedience http://www.midlanddogtraining.com/index.php?id=100

Hey rumour Do you know which base he would be at? If it's the Naval Base at Garden Island then Weasels will probably be a good person to talk to. In terms of trialing and clubs, most agility and obedience trials are held at the Dogswest grounds which are in Southern River.

Yeah but unfortunately you have to pay to raise your shower head above eye level, put shower screens on, put doors on built in robes, add shelving to pantry, add a dishwasher recess, add power points so you can plug in more than one thing at a time, tile your laundry and toilet floor, thousands of dollars later :laugh: Trauma... lol Yeah I take forever to choose too RFT. Ahhh mirawee I guess I'm not that disorganised, got flights, camper, entries etc done/booked - just need to buy metal screws for Trixie's airline crate, and do heaps of training :laugh:

Eeesh I'm still traumatised from building a house 3-4 years ago Don't think I'd do it again for a while - so many things that cost money afterwards. Blerk! Not to mention the sandy yard... ew How is Jive going Mirawee? I recently came to the realisation that I am going to Sydney in 4 weeks with Trixie and have so much to do and train before then

Wow Anikka is still on fire! Aww how cute is Jive, sounds like she had a good first show. I gave my dog the weekend off work - we went camping in Dwellingup (awesome spot - Lane Poole Reserve - dogs are allowed there on lead) and she roughed it as a bush dog though she didn't appreciate the rain or cold, but she did love laying near the campfire, rying to catch leaves floating in the river and being fed lots of food :laugh: ETA yes you read rght - my dog doesn't like being rained on but will happily splash in water :laugh:
