I bought a few cans to try and the dogs loved it but it's cheaper to buy cans of Home Brand Mackerel from Woolies and give them that instead.
-
If my dog had been sticking it's body parts under our fence and got injured, whether the neighbours dog was involved or not, there is no way I would expect them to pay the bill. It is my responsibility to make sure my pets are safe in my yard. It would be nice if they offered to pay some money towards it, but I certainly wouldn't expect it. $4000 sure is a scary vet bill! Poor pup, I hope he recovers okay.

None of the above Nutro at present.

I'll try and read it by Sunday so I can give it to you then. Or Tuesday. Well the first trial was going to be the midweek ACWA jumping trial but having trouble tracking down someone to measure him and entries close on Monday!
-
Yep this Sunday. Yay parcels! Must be the day for them. They're so soft and nice I wanted to keep one for myself and not give it to the dogs.. but that didn't happen Glad she likes them

The time will fly RS! I never felt like I would get there either and I'm nearly trialling! (And I was really slack) If you go to Agility Nerd - http://www.agilitynerd.com/blog/ - they are offering the Click & Play agility book free for download (up to chapter 2 so far) that might give you some ideas and things to do in the back yard (I haven't read it yet). I'm reading Shaping Success at the moment and after I've finished I can lend it to you. Also - ACWA have a DVD library that you can borrow agility DVDs from, for $2 I think. They used to have some Greg Derrett foundation ones, and others. Sorry for the hijack Ness

Argh this made me so mad reading this thread, a completely avoidable situation. I really hope they bring in cat containment laws in WA soon. Nothing annoys me more than cat owners who profess to love their cat yet let it roam at danger of all sorts of things, especially since these people had a near miss before. It's a dog (a terrier no less) that attacked a cat, which is instinctive, it's hardly going to go stalking small children now I dare say the cat wouldn't have made it out of my yard either in that situation Thankfully there don't seem to be any roaming cats in my new neighbourhood, unlike the last one. Definitely keep notes on everything. I hope you and Kate recover well Christine. So frustrating!

I consider a dog to no longer be a puppy at 12 months, not sure why. But I still call Kyzer my "Puppy Boy" even though he is 3 and the oldest of my two  It really annoys OH
-
Kyzer did this when he was a pup, didn't start until he was about 16 weeks from memory - we got into the habit of ignoring him when coming through the door and waiting until he had calmed down to say hello, and not bending over him and he grew out of it within a few weeks.

You watch, it will be heralded as the latest agility technique Unconventional, but it worked!
-
Pretty sure the black SBT that was running in Novice last night was called Maximus?
-
How about an Ag Ch title to add to that O Ch title?
-
Can't watch the videos ATM, but RS I'm so happy Ruby did the SFE so well! Sounds like she had a great night! Just that pesky stay to work on now
-
Oh I missed this, she's so cute! (And naughty!) ETA and I really love the name!
-
RIP Spinner.
-
Did you get footage? Has she been entered in any trials yet? I can't recall. Open jumping is scary! We have an Open Jumping course at training each week... the obstacle just seem so far away from the line!! I always have to cross it Need to work on that.
-
Hey that's awesome Huski There is no way Trixie is going to be able to do that! Ness, I can see Kenzie saying "Why would I want to do that jump? The dog walk is where all the action is, and all the food!" I have this problem with Kyzer sometimes, he will run to the other side of the ring just to go on a DW or A Frame He is getting better though.

Ditto... My girl is not much bigger than my boy (He's 6.5kg she's 8kg) but she still knocks him around a bit, even when they're not playing. Just things like bumping into him when they walk through doors etc. Sorry there's nothing more they can do CW. There's a CKCS in my agility class and he is a little star

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww I love the Smooth Fox Terriers! She's beautiful! I'm really sorry to hear about Jasper, I remember your threads about him. Happy to hear you have Ruby to help heal your heart, sounds like she's doing a great job!

The name of this thread should be changed to '2010 Brags, Snack Foods, and Alcoholic Beverages'

Thanks Labrat, that's okay, a lot of people misread it and I now have the nicknames 'amps' or 'ampy' Yep, Davina is the one they want to meet, I believe. Thanks for your help

I'm surprised they manage to walk in such nice straight lines if that's the case ;)
-
Can someone please tell me what day Hounds are on? My Brother wants to chat to some Basenji breeders.
-
I imagine that will be the dirtiest look in history ;)

$1000 of i-squeaks ;) You definitely have to take a photo of Lexi's face. ETA: Do we PM you about the payments? I'm having visions of your PM inbox exploding.
