Hang on, you had the day off to clean up your storm damaged house but still did some training sessions? That's dedication Hope your house and everything will be okay!
-
Don't know if they've found him yet? Here are some pics: From Perthnow: LINK

Mim I just read bout the damage to your house in the other thread, crikey! Hope it all gets fixed up ok. Some of the photos I have been emailed are making me go Has anyone seent he pictures of the apartments in Mounts Bay Road full of mud? Whoa!
-
Oh I didn't realise there was a photo Maybe it wasn't a typo. What's wrong with these people!
-
It must be a typo, they meant 3 years or 3 months, surely!
-
Apparently the flooding is not too bad at K9, power substation in that area got hit though, did anyone get their power back this morning or is it still out?
-
Yep mine were okay, but only because of luck! Cross posted: OH had gone home early and put the dogs inside, they are usually outside and their crates are under our alfresco area, he said the hail stones were coming in horizontally under the alfresco (about 5 metres of cover) and bouncing off the glass sliding door, the poor dogs would've been battered if they were there! But wow am I glad I don't have an apartment near Kings Park at the moment! Those poor people with mud gushing in the windows! Hopefully agility training will be on tonight anyway although I'd say the bottom oval will be pretty slippery!

Everyone at work got hail damage too... except me! The only person whose car is already banged up and not one hail dent! People a few houses down from home had the SES there covering up their roof because a heap of tiles had blown off. Pretty crazy hey! ETA: Thank God OH had gone home early because the dogs were outside (their crates are under our alfresco area) he said the hail stones were coming in horizontally under the alfresco (about 5 metres of cover) and bouncing off the glass sliding door, the poor dogs would've been battered if they were there!

No tunnel for us Rubystar Aaaaaaaaaarghhh!

I've seen that ad for the dog roll too RnL, in the Canine News, but haven't seen it in the shops, I couldn't find it on their website either!
-
Me too! It looks like it snowed outside work! And all the trees got their leaves shredded, what a mess! I hope my dogs are taking cover at home!
-
Oh with my black dog ones - when they start to look a bit gross and grotty I soak them in hot napisan for an hour or two and rinse them and they come up like new!
-
Mine would She attempted to when I had her tethered to do some clicker training with Kyzer, Luckily I noticed in time and the lead only sustained slight damage (it was a crappy old lead anyway). I use a wire crate for her at home now when it's not her turn But mine tried to chew through the leash that was actually holding her back :D Not just any old nearby leash ;) Was it a good one?

There's a Staffy x Tenterfield at my obedience club, looks just like a Black Tri Tentie from the back, erect ears and all, but when it turns around it has a short brindle face Confused me a bit when I first saw it!

Awwww happy birthday Aubrey! Lovely little write up too, SB

I go through 1 or 2 packs a week with my two for training treats, I like them. No preservatives, easy to break up and the dogs think they're pretty good. I separate the packs into small zip lock bags and freeze them so I can just grab a pack and run, they defrost reasonably fast in summer. I prefer them over the VIP Chunkers because they last longer in the fridge and don't smell as bad.

Ditto... my older dog is a puller (my fault, he was a tiny pup so hardly felt him pulling ) we're working on it, he's getting better. ETA: When walked with another dog he can get a bit competitive and needs to be in front. I was determined not to let the pup develop a pulling habit so always walked them separately, she's 8 months old now and I have only walked them together twice. I use treats and praise her for walking at my side and give her a treat, if she hits the end of the leash I make an 'ah' sound and she'll loosen the lead. She's pretty good now generally. She still pulls a fair bit at training though until I can get her attention (just toooo much going on!

She's beautiful! I love the pigment around her eyes.

Good work Red Dogs! I didn't even know there was an agility trial on this weekend
-
I couldn't find any I liked in the shops here so I got Huga to make some up for me, the details are in her thread in commercial marketplace. I'm very happy with them. The two closest City Farmers stores to me are good, but that may be because they are both new - they seem to have just as much stuff as the local BP&G (more toys though) and are often slightly cheaper.

Yeah I imagine travel cost is pretty scary Tassie! Look forward to seeing you here though!
-
Maybe keep a skewer handy to stab the squeaker with.....
-
Yep I know but the entry fee is $45 for teams isn't it? I'm just feeling sorry for the bank accounts of those who are doing the heats, games, and teams
-
Swabbing levies? I'm intrigued! I only have one dog in single agility classes and the entry fees and catalogue alone comes to nearly $100 Lucky I'm not doing games or teams
-
Sure did! Happy Birthday Hannah! I'm just filling out my entries for the nationals, ouch! Painful with one dog, you people with multiple dogs must have to sell some organs for cash or something! ;)
