  1. I'll probably have Trixie too (She doesn't deal well with being left at home alone!) so maybe the more Gazebos the better? If there are 10 dogs it won't be that hard to fill 4 up! How many gazebo's do you have? I just have my mini one

    Ellie

So sorry for your loss Horus RIP Ellie.
  3. I'll just set up next to Ozjen's Gazebo so I'm not a loner
  4. Yeah I know the rings will be there but I won't necessarily be able to tell which are which I'll just set up wherever ozjen does, it's not that far I guess!
  5. I'm getting pretty nervous, despite my giddy heights of success ( ) Need to stop being so nervous though! It's amazing how much the dog picks up on! I want to set up my gazebo on Wednesday too but I have no idea where the novice rings will be! I'll have to get my numbers etc on Thursday morning unfortunately (7.30am - blerk!!!) RS is a stewarding pro 'Helping out' - is that what you call it? Or did you mean to write 'digging in'?
  6. I know that woman! She was my instructor last term
  7. Please tell me how you did this! I have a crate screamer and ignoring her doesn't make a difference!
  8. I was coming in to suggest the Chilly Dog rain coat but I think somebody beat me to it ;)
  9. Good post Vickie, I agree with this. I had Kyzer early into obedience classes then Agility (which was a lot funner for him) he was my first dog so I didn't have much of a clue, we learned together (although he picked up things faster than I did ;) ) With Trixie I had all these plans to start her on basic stuff straight away because I had more of an idea of the end goal (for agility anyway) but let's just say she wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed so I just let her be a puppy, we only really played games with a bit of basic stuff thrown in like stays and sits and drops and she has only recently (9 months old now) started to think about things more so I have started teaching her some basic jumping grids which she is picking up quickly. So I think it really does depend on the dog, some of them are sharp as soon as they are born, others need a bit of time to sharpen up And yes she is another who always thinks it's her turn
  10. Papillon :nahnah: Woooo little dogs! Although K9 is probably as bit further it's probably worth it to get them used to the grounds anyway!
  11. Yep the nationals will be at K9 which are the Dogswest grounds. Details for tomorrow's training: Hope that helps! Cloverdale may be closer to where you are staying. Someone else may be able to confirm :nahnah:
  12. Not that bad, I have a dongle I was looking for the schedule and there's a section on there of who to email about training for each night, wasn't sure if visitors were supposed to email first or not? :nahnah:
  13. Here's the link for the info book if anyone has a faster net connection than me, mine's taking forever! http://members.iinet.net.au/~timabi/2010/N...January2010.pdf
  14. Hi Xena, welcome to Perth :nahnah: Where are you staying? There is training at K9 tomorrow night with Southern River AODC, I'm guessing Eastern Staters are welcome? I'm waiting for the info book on the ANWA website to download so I can check.
  15. I dare say they will have some chutes out tonight, they had a few out last night. I won't be there tonight but will be there on Thursday. Trying to keep it fun and not thrash it out too much!
  16. Wow, amazing photos! I love the one of the houses in the sunshine, it's hard to believe that's all one picture!

  19. Riverside Gardens: GOOGLE MAPS LINK You can see Milne Street, head towards the river, veer left along the red road and park around there (near the shed where it says Leake St although there is no street there ETA: Changed the link to a better one, the green arrow is where the main dog beach part is.
  20. I was envious of everyone training last night So wish I hadn't taken that break in agility with Ruby now, cos we might be competing at the Nationals had we stuck with it! Oh well, gave me a chance for her to grow up a touch and concentrate on obedience Still bummed though Saw one of your runs when I got there last night Amy, very nice! Eh? Which one, the first two courses were okay then he was a bit over it Don't worry, when Ruby, Millie and Trixie are ready we can travel to a Nationals somewhere ;) ;) Okay maybe not Trixie, that will be too long :D
  21. Awesome I thought of you and Mason when I bought them on Friday, just kept forgetting to tell you
  22. Exciting! Were you at K9 last night DC? Sorry can't really help you with the swimming question.
