Agility Nationals Perth 2010

That Mini Schnauzer was the most adorable little thing, instead of barking it would squeak and everyone would go 'awwww!' -
Yep we were in the Novice Jumping final, the Tenterfield with the broken ears I know we were trying to remember which dogs were which when the awards were being presented but they all started to look the same after 4 days! ETA: Are you training Leila in Agility? We need more GSPs, I believe there are only 2 competing here? Some brilliant GSPs were here form the Eastern states though! I never realised there were so many that do agility!

The committee members won't know what to do with all the spare time they will have now! Wasn't it a heap of fun though, just absolutely awesome stuff. I'm sad it's over now I'd been looking forward to it for so long! -
Oh gosh that is a worry, you'd think being a judge he would've seen the articles about the Xolo's in Aus and the notice in the Canine News about them! haha. Yes there were some stunning runs today that's for sure! Dogs certainly are amazing creatures!

Was nice to meet you today Wazzat, Naca was fascinating and a lot bigger than I expected! Still giggling about someone asking about your 'Chinese Crested X Pharaoh Hound' Ahhh I'll never whinge about people thinking Trixie is a Dobe puppy ever again You probably know but there was an article about the Xolos in the Dog Show Scene Quarterly magazine.

Yes I'm still a bit confused about that one! Will have to watch the video back! I was sure we DQ'd? Well done Lexi and Helen!
-
Yep PF, it was in 2002.

Well done on the titles Smisch and Terranik! ETA: And Yacketsmum! Sorry didn't see that one there! We got a title too! After two days of bombing out Kyzer ran clear in NJ and came first in 300 and got his third pass for his JD title, so he is now DoubleG In The Black JD!

What Don't Most People Know About Your Breed?

Not "I would love to hear the crazy things that people think about your dog that aren't true!" Completely agree Bindii! -

Oh but I forgot to mention that I am really enjoying seeing so many breeds out there in the rings! There are all shapes and sizes from Scotties to St Bernards! It's awesome. And I nearly fell off my chair when I saw there was another Tentie in my class! He looks a lot like Kyzer too which is freaky, but he doesn't have broken ears ;) And he is a lot more relaxed!!! -

Indeed ;) I'm sure the look on my face as I left the ring would have been quite amusing -

Oh and my day wasn't so great, Novice Jumping was good except he was sucked towards a tunnel so ran past a jump and Novice Agility was an absolute nightmare!!! He missed both contacts (never happened before!), went around the weaves, went around jumps, and just ran circles of the ring then took off to see ValleyCBR (first time he has ever done that!)!! For once he wasn't stuffing up due to nerves or handling, he was just downright naughty! ;) No jackpot for you! -
Where does your car have to be? Will you have a loan car or something?

Awww I thought Varda did really well considering how hot it was! -
Yep, I will probably do the same as today - run Kyzer in the morning, drop the dogs home at lunch time then go back and watch some games then wait around to see if I get my number drawn out of the losers box and win a consolation prize Scored a bottle of wine today - sweet! ;) ;)

Lincoln AND Toby's crate. Andit only takes half the gazebo. Yes one crate takes up half a gazebo but if they have one each that's a whole gazebo gone! ;)
-
it was a bit of a squish today because one whole gazebo was useless due to it not being in shade for most of the day but it might be a bit better tomorrow because it's forecast to be 24 with a late shower, depends on how big your crate is I guess because if they are the same size as Lincoln's crate they will take up a whole gazebo by themselves If you are coming after about 12.30 it should be okay because I will take my dogs home about then so there will be a bit more room.

It looks different now I don't think the pic loaded properly the first time because his legs looked all strange, not from the break, they look normal now, never mind me, too much sun
-
What on earth is going on with his legs
-
They replied to my emails about my membership fairly promptly and I scanned and emailed the application form to them

He uses chocolates, cracks me up. I tried it on some people at work who wouldn't use the in / out board, didn't work, my treats mustn't have been high value to them
