Yep Don't need it right now :D Yeah I like the clean bold colours, don't really care about fluffiness because he doesn't tug anyway.

You have about 6 weeks to get some and stock up the freezer - she says running out the door to beat you to it :D I only have a tiny freezer MM have you used the Pet Chef in Midland? They deliver too.

Don't have enough money this week :D I like those ones too but I like the way Banjo's has the name on it

Bugger! I've been meaning to buy some goat rib bones for ages

WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT !! Me too Wanna share postage costs? :D God you're a bad influence
-
WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT !! Of course the dollar has gone to rubbish. You need to grab the ring and feed the rope that's attached to the ring into the ring to make a loop if that makes sense? :)

Kyzer has never been shaved for his desex op or blood tests, but he's pretty bald

Yep.. you're so right there! Can someone tell me why a bitch can compete in the showring when its in season? I would have thought this was unfair to fellow competers? Because bitches shouldn't be penalised for being bitches and coming into season. You can train and correct your males to ignore bitches in season , to a certain degree for the show ring. Mine don't really give a stuff about the girls being in season. The ring is supposed to be about conformation and it's a couple of minutes at a time. Running a triangle and out and back and stacking for 30 odd seconds , doesn't really compare to what you do in the obedience ring, in terms of exercises and time. It's not fair for dogs competing in other dog sports and obedience to have the added distraction, the playing field would not be even if a bitch in season was competing. Thanks CBR and SBT. I will have to see as my bitch is coming into season and nearing her first show, I dont mind upsetting my dog but I would not like to upset anyone elses, mmm a good one to think about. I used to take mine if she was coming into or out of season, but I did not show her if she was in obvious standing heat as I didn't think it was fair, but I also had horror visions of someones dog getting loose and do naughty things to my little girl! Not to mention it's hardly pretty with the short coated dogs ;)

Yeah I'd say that petrol comment has a few people scratching their heads ;) I just couldn't help it because I thought the petrol thing was so weird / funny
-
Lol I have put a shirt on Mason today, he seems much happier with it on, not scratching as much. I hope it's not a cotton shirt! ;) I hope you didn't soak it in petrol ;)

Agility Training Sites And Resources

http://www.agilitynerd.com/blog/ Can't think of any more right now! -
Ahhhh can't wait for that!!

How about just for pure and simple enjoyment of the dog and the teamwork. Not every dog sports person is or has aspirations to be a breeder. Besides seasons are bloody inconvenient if you're seriously campaigning a dog - bitches have no sense of timing. Exactly! I do agility as a hobby for me and my dog, not for some dog sports breeding program.

You can't even commence training at our club unless your dog is 14 month old and has passed a basic soundness check. At my main club we have a puppy class with very low equipment and wobble boards etc. I like the soundness check idea though.

Urgent - Bearded Collie Missing In Camira Brisbane
pie replied to bordacollies4me's topic in General Dog Discussion
Bump, hope he is found soon -
Oakway for me it is not to do with the exertion on the dog when they are young it is more to do with making sure my dog is as sound as she can be to stand her in good stead for the next 10+ years of physical activity she is likely to partake in, if that makes sense. (The agility clubs I go to are careful about not jumping full height or doing full height obstacles or weavers with dogs under 12 months)

Trixie was purchased for pet / dog sport purposes, she is 10 months old and is in season now (ugh! ) She's a small dog (~10kg) My intention has always been to delay desexing until at least 18 months, for growth/developmental purposes and also because I believe it decreases the risks of spay incontinence. I don't really want to leave it any longer than that though because the Pyometra risks worry me. So I personally am comfortable with desexing at the 18 month mark, I'd say she will have had 2 seasons by then. I'm finding it annoying having her in season though, can't take her out to training or anywhere for that matter and she's getting restless! Poor little prisoner Not to mention the mess and smell - blerk. But it's not unmanageable, just inconvenient, would probably be more stressful if my dog was entire. I personally would not buy a puppy that had already been desexed. But I also come from the angle of having breeds that aren't popular with BYB.

No I'd get confused too Millie already has the perfect name for her!
