Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Cool, that's what I got Looking forward to getting it now!
-
Thanks Cosmolo, I bought one from airdogs anyway (postage is a bit kinder for a smaller order). How strong are they? Sorry for the OT
-
I have lost a couple of Wubbas over the fence in the past because Kyzer grabs the tail, does the 'terrier kill' and while he is thrashing it about he lets go and away it sails through the air...!
-
Can you get the Raccoon tails sent to Aus? I always assumed Customs would confiscate them, man Trixie would LOVE one of those! Kyzer doesn't really tug, but Trixie likes in order of preference: Bunny fur Dynamite stick Skinneez toys Sheep tug (ball of sheepskin in end of a leather line) ETA: She also loves small Kong Wubba's but they all seem to have gone missing.
-
Aww, you can buy her the Kong airdogs ones! Or something like an isqueak.

Apparently the rubber is abrasive in normal tennis balls, there are some balls out there (Like the Kong brand tennis balls) that are safe for dog's teeth. ETA: Actually it might be the felt that's abrasive rather than the rubber.

Agility Tunnels 6 Mt -topbuy Website

Do your dogs spend all day while you're at work going through the tunnel? I can't set mine up or Millie would make herself dizzy going through it all day Trixie does, I should really put it away, she'll go outside to pee then do a lap through the tunnel on her way back in -

I've got a proper tunnel but I made budget sandbags by filling the Coles green chiller bags ($2.69 each) with sand and joining the handles together with an ocky strap over the tunnel (A belt would be better though) they work fine, maybe try something like that? -
Ohhh happy belated birthday Mirawee

I wish she was coming to Perth

Puppy listings are evil! Stay away from them!

Does she knock any bars? I'm guessing she is a good weight? With my small terrier I'd not be worried about him jumping a height that's about the same as his shoulders, I assume yours is as springy as mine? :D in training I sometimes jump him at a height up from his normal height (normally 300, sometimes jump him at 400, he is 340 at withers) and he doesn't knock bars.
-
What height is she at withers? Personally I don't think a small dog is 'elderly' at 8, as long as she is sound.
-
Did you buy those weave poles then? Mine are still in production but now have peg holes drilled in them thanks to RubyStar's handywork (yes she can operate a power tool) Hopefully I'll have them this weekend. Food is overrated, but puppies are awesome! :D

Ouch! :D One of those better ways is a fluffy bundle from Norway?! :D

Okay might ponder it a bit more and see if we get out of our current rut. (We meaning me ) There is an ACWA teams trial advertised in the latest Cannine news, can't remember the date though. A Royal Debut! :D You're brave TSD
-
This is what worries me also - lack of space - and having to be locked in all day. Don't think I'll do it. But I would like to participate in other team events, now I'll have to try and find a team for those!
-
The crowds worry me but then he was pretty good at the nationals final which was pretty full on, it was just that I stuffed him up He did stand and look around at the people with a confused look on his face for a few seconds though Also the other three people are really good and are way ahead of us so I feel like we would let them down! The others are Tracey with Chester the Sheltie, Deb with Maggie the Kelpie, and Tracey with Taz (I think) the Border Collie. You've still got over a month to decide.
-
There aren't all that many agility trials either - not such a bad thing really. I've been asked to join a team for the Royal with Kyzer but still can't decide whether to do it or not.
-
I used that food as training treats A bag lasts ages!
-
NG is the only tinned food I feed to my dogs - I like that it looks like meat and not jelly! Can be a touch fatty though (may just be the flavours I bought - I think the roo one is okay) I always have some tins in the cupboard for emergencies and I use the little tins for jackpots at agility trials. 12 days - how exciting!
-
Yes it does. Okay well that's awkward :D Are you really wagging tonight? If you aren't then I'm buying gloves on the way home because it is soooo cold outside.
-
I'm exactly the same as you Kavik! ;) Need to figure that out too. Also won't tug at home if there is food - might try bedazzled's idea.
