  1. Awwww look at the photos of Buzz, he has stolen my heart, I really must have a Whippet one day, gosh I love them. Those Buzz kisses on Sunday sealed the deal
  2. No neither of us are ready for Masters! I think We'll do Open Jumping for a bit while we wait for our skills to improve :D Thankfully we have no more trials until October so we can brush up on some skills.
  3. Well done everyone on their brags, Smisch Denver was obviously meant for you, what a brilliant effort Well done Sally & Kenzie on a good day. LP - great weekend for you too! And CleoJ congrats on the title! Really starting to respect the obedience people even more than I already did - man it's hard work :D I have a delayed brag, yesterday Kyzer got his 4th JDX pas on a course that was very twisty and turny, I think it was our hardest yet, I had to do about 6 rear crosses , so glad he knows how to do them! It wasn't pretty, and it wasn't fast at all, but he still managed to be well within the SCT, and came second overall too, by half a second Yes it was a case of slow and steady in the JDX ring for all of the dogs, that's for sure That means one more pass for his JDX title :D But we still don't have the one I really want, that third AD pass!
  4. Oh yeah I was going to go up and visit you WX but I forgot! Never mind, I got to talk to Taha Daha when Rach bought her down to the bottom oval, she was making some peculiar noises :D What a funny girl.
  5. Are there any kind people out there who have their Canine News nearby who could tell me the schedule for the ACWA teams & games trial this weekend? I am trying to work out if I can get to the footy or not
  6. I haven't got any trials for ages, pretty sure the next agility trial at K9 after this weekend is in mid October And this weekend isn't a proper trial anyway.
  7. My girl had her first season recently, day 1 was on 12 May, a couple of weeks after it was over she had a phantom and was even producing milk, it's only in the last week that it has gone down and she is starting to look normal again. I just let it run it's course.
  8. I dare say that was a left over from the Nationals, not as many little dogs turned up as they hoped and they were handing out the food as prizes at later trials. Squeeeee adorable!! Man I wish I saw the runs of the other two dogs who Q'd, they must have been sooooooooooo sloooooooowww if our two slow poke runs beat them Seemed like a generous SCT though.
  9. I have a special one I started competing because it was the logical next step really, he was doing well at training but we were in a rut so it was time to take the next step and start trialling. It was terrifying at first for both me and him, he is a super nervous dog and small things can shut him down, sometimes I have seriously thought about not continuing to trial him after a particularly bad trial but then we have a good trial and he has a great day and it makes me rethink. At the moment he goes okay at our regular training grounds where most of our trials are but doesn't cope well at 'away' trials, we have a plan to work on that! I know it's me that pushes him a bit far sometimes and people on the sidelines probably watch and think he is one of those dogs that just shouldn't be out there but he LOVES training and he does get a bit better with each trial his confidence improves for the most part. It really is a rollercoaster sometimes! We've been trialling for less than 6 months and it's still a process of trying to figure out what works and what doesn't! We only have one title so far (JD) but we are over halfway to JDX and just one pesky pass off AD and even though Kyzer doesn't know what that means I do, it means that against the odds we have managed to pull through and achieve something which at times seemed impossible Which just makes me appreciate him that little bit more.
  10. Free shipping? Do you mean with your order Amps or do you mean the site is having free shipping? Cos I placed an order a wee while back (still waiting for the order) but I am pretty sure I paid shipping Nono they have a free shipping section that has a small selection of things in it What did you buy
  11. Ok You're getting quite the DVD collection happening with this free shipping aren't you!
  12. Some back issues of the magazine, a bag, toys, and that's about it really!
  13. Various things that I probably shouldn't be buying Toys, shade mesh, toys, toys
  14. No but you're starting to be the Clean Run fairy!! Did you hit the button yet? :D Not yet! Awwww , I'll never forget that day I drove you to your parent's house to pick up Ruby and take her to the Nationals to hang out, and your Dad kept saying "What about Millie?? Why can't Millie go too?? What's wrong with Millie??" So funny.
  15. Hey what am I the Rosette Fairy?
  16. No I want to, I think it's sad that Milliemoo came first with such a great score and got her title and you didn't get anything, you need something to remember it by in years and years!
  17. Yes it would look good, purple and chocolate, mmmmmmmmmmmm Cadbury..........
  18. Well you pick a colour then!
  19. I'm going to buy you a rosette RS, what are your (or Millie's ) Favourite colours?
  20. No, I am far too unreliable and forgetful to help organise anything! It would be easier for everyone if I was not involved!
  21. No but I did hear they might not be having Obedience :) Yes apparently it is because there is no one to organise it? It would be a real shame to lose it, and I'm not even an obedience person (yet ), but the Western Classic is one of those great shows where people can go down and see showing, obedience, and agility all in the one weekend.
  22. Moosepup and Honeychild both have Chi's and are in Perth. Not sure if they come in here though? Another good place for info is the Chi thread, not sure if you've been in there yet, it's here: http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?showtopic=105948 As for Puppy pre school I used one for my first dog and it was such a disaster that I opted not to do it with my second dog, she just met with other dogs and puppies instead that I knew. If you are going to use one my advice would be make sure it is not an off lead free for all especially having such a small puppy, the bigger ones can really flatten and frighten the littler ones without realising it and it can start your puppy off on a bad foot. It's all personal choice though of course and does depend on the dog. JMO.
  23. Oh bugger just remembered I didn't reply to your text on Sunday! Sorry Rach :D
  24. Yes I suspect Trixie will be like that too Might have to find something to practice with at home! ETA: I have measured her at home so at least I can tell them where to start She was 42cm I think, what's with me and my over standard size dogs
  25. Me tooooooooo!!! No you don't Me three I was being strong but all the puppy cuddles yesterday were just too much! No I don't want a puppy really but man they are so cute. Hope Lilly is okay vCBR Bugger about the Xolo puppies WX! I was really looking forward to photos, I imagine they would look very interesting!
