Just going by the weird looks I get when I take mine to work Maybe the public transport system is more accepting ;)
-
No I mean you could have been reading your Canine news all this time! That would have got some interesting looks on the train
-
Yay Kyzer's title should be in there too! Ahahah you could have been reading it this whole time!

Completely agree, this is my biggest regret from raising my first dog, I wish I knew better, I would have walked out of that class within 5 minutes! I opted not to do puppy pre school with my second dog, I called about 6 of them but they all had off leash play with the whole class so I didn't join.

I guess my rocky road is not worth your info then Oops I keep forgetting!

At first glance I thought your Alpaca was a Samoyed Very cute.
-
I was thinking more along the lines of delicious snacks.
-
Sure I can do that... for a fee.... :D
-
Well there was a punch up Ok not really I made that up :D
-
Awww cute At least they would all be well exercised by the time you got home I think you should test him out with a nice dead bird :D  Make sure you warm it up in your hands or under your jumper first to make it more authentic Yesterday I found the remains of a new toy duck strewn all over my (freshly vacuumed) lounge room (I was so annoyed with myself for leaving it within reach - it was Kyzer's handywork), and also foam chunks everywhere, but I can't work out where the foam came from.... that's a worry . Anyway I've decided I'm buying a baby gate and the little cow can only have access to a little bit of the house until she stops being naughty ;)

Argh I want to go!! But I should be painting Maybe I could paint after..... I have a problem though - one of my 'supportive shoes' got half eaten the other day ;)

There's Zumba at K9? :D I must have a Whippet one day, is it harder to find confident ones though? I want a Buzz I'd love to do Zumba I knew they had classes at Cockburn on Wednesday nights and have been meaning to go for ages

Woohoo, exciting! Bring home the goods Ptolomy & Bedazzled Emery hang in there, she's still a baby really and is just getting to that fun (LOL) stage of adolescence, as Ptolomy said we all have bad training days, ones when we want to strangle our dogs, or is that just me... :D

I don't know if I should say anything publicly because it's not set in stone, it's still being finalised.

There was yummy cake That was what you wanted to know wasn't it? :D

I tried to explain to her that no sneakers = no training/walks but she didn't get that logic Yes Millie loves the dumbell now doesn't she, to the point where once when she wast tethered she managed to steal it when you weren't looking and have a good chew on it, I confiscated it

I smacked myself for leaving it on the floor, I usually put them out of the way!

I think a Lab would be better! It's going to be a battle to try and get Trixie to do a SFE, if she doesn't know the person then she's suspicious of them and if she does know the person then she wants to jump all over them I really did buy that to teach her the dumbell retrieve because I thought it would be something to wear her brain out and stop her being naughty (didn't work, I lost a jogger yesterday, RIP Jogger )
-
It's a new rule, when the dog is on a table the judge does a SFE Okay will suss it out on Thursday (if the weather improves!) and will try not to break it prematurely before then That's why I suggested Amypie ask you - you have every method downpat and lots of experience :p Okay well only tell me the good methods please :D So many things to teach!

I did mention to PD8888 that Whippet + Manchester Terrier zoomies would be a pretty scary sight, lone Manchester ones are bad enough

Thought so, good work

Woweeee congratulations FHRP! Nothing like seeing dogs doing what they were desgned for! Sounds very full on, what a brilliant effort, and no none of your boys are UG -
Awww Huski don't give up! You can both do it, we all know you are both capable of great things! I still get quite nervous too but it does get better, although if you are putting pressure on yourself I think they flare up again. Hope you find a good strategy soon. Does anyone have tips on teaching a SFE? I've got her to stand and wait, then I walk ahead, turn and watch for a moment, then return to her side, is it just a matter of increasing the time and then getting people to stand near her, then touch her quickly and then build up for a proper SFE?
