I wish you hadn't said that I was just thinking about how I want to buy one of those home alone toys, I know Dstore have them. Now I'll have to buy one!
-
That's exactly what I was thinking Woohoooooooooo! How exciting, yes make the most of that last sleep in ;)
-
As if you could do that Throw her over my fence before you throw her over the pound fence Crikeys! Glad she's okay!

My older dog knows a few tricks, roll over, play dead, shake, jump into my arms etc, but I didn't teach him them so that he would entertain people, I taught them to him to give his mind something to do, something to keep his brain stimulated on rainy days when I don't want to go outside also when he is feeling a bit nervous / needs motivating for training / trials getting him to do some quick tricks that he has been well rewarded for in the past can work sometimes. I taught them mostly through shaping with a clicker, such fun watching his brain go a million miles an hour trying to figure out what I'm after. The younger dog isn't quite as 'quick' as the older one so she only really knows roll over Everything else I have taught her is agility / obedience related.

Yep, it's a shame we can't all be retired and rich hey, imagine how much stuff we'd get done
-
Heheh I can imagine the look on ozjen's face I bet the Lappies would have pulled a crowd, lovely fluffy teddy bears they are Is that what someone told you RE Kelpies? ;) Then you won't be able to show them! I got to catch some of the sheepdog demos which were done near the obedience / agiility section, just brilliant stuff, was great to watch.

I bet Jenna loved it I did see you briefly on Sunday but you were busy talking to the general public and we were in a huge rush! Pretty crazy in that dog pavilion!
-
Don't expect discouragement from the lady with 5 Tollers He sure is cute. No puppies for me for ages thanks
-
My dog also gets dandruff from stress, it will come on about 10 minutes after she has been in a stressful situation (being rushed by a dog etc). She had it when I picked her up after her flight to me too. Easy to see because she has a very short black coat. It's the only time she gets it though, and I know it's not shampoo related. Her coat and skin is in great condition with the Nutro and have no skin problems apart form this.
-
Black dog sell them too, they are adjustable and you can get double or single sided pockets. Bottom of this page: http://www.blackdog.net.au/index.php?page=...rt&Itemid=5 Hopefully that worked.

There are some DOLers on here who do tracking. I'm pretty sure the tracking season is finished for the year? It's quite short and over the cooler months because of snakes etc. Your pup will probably be a good age for it for next season Here is Trackwest's website: http://www.trackwest.com.au/ What breed are you getting? (sorry if I missed it )

One of my workmates lives on Milne St (she has no dogs) and she said she hates the dogs being there because when she takes her small children to the playground she has to pick up heaps of poo so that the toddler doesn't pick it up, it will be people like this who want the dogs banned and rightfully so, they shouldn't have to be doing that! How hard is it to pick up after your damn dogs! There are plenty of bags provided. Maybe they need the presence of a ranger type person there watching, or more signage?

There is video somewhere, I think Ptolomy's mum had it?
-
Woohoo, well done Bedazzled, Brooklyn was lovely to watch today! Only one point in it! Such a lovely boy. And as for Cider, wow! It was amazing to watch, the entire crowd was captivated, she sure is a spectacular dog, I can't wait to see what her future holds! This was only her second trial wasn't it? Really inspiring stuff Ptolomy Made me want to come home and train some obedience
-
Yes I suspect they will be! I see Bedazzledx2 lurking, hopefully she'll post soon
-

Smarty pants Mine are shedding slightly more than normal but it's still an insignificant amount. I've been sick this last week and was away on the weekend and as a result haven't done much with the dogs and Trixie has been bouncing off the walls :D I am definitely going to drag myself to training tonight for the sake of my sanity (and poor Kyzers, he is getting fed up with her annoying him too ) If anyone tells you small dogs = low energy requirement they are lying!!
-
Wow I never would've guessed OESD babies would look like that, aren't they remarkable! Like they've had their back ends dipped in ink
-
No they're okay, I was just surprised at how small they were. They are still bigger than a small i-squeak.They are quite hard too. My dogs still went mental over it.
