I have a Canon 60D. My first ever DSLR and before that I used the SLR my Dad got for his 21st birthday (but he made me give it back when I moved out of home at 21, so it has been a while and I am very out of practice) I'm using a Canon 50mm lens.

Lovely rose tlc, it looks like the "Peace Rose" I stole from my grandmother's garden after her house was auctioned and I found out the buyers were going to subdivide and level her garden. That is a great succulent pic RV. Was this taken on micro settings? It has a great wide field of focus :)

I think I am too influenced by the theme ! If we were doing winter photos, mine would probably all be blue.

Awww...Molly Flanagan's photos are divine, they bought a tear (or more) to my eyes. I'm sure in 90 more days when I shout at the kids "Stop Moving. There, right there!!" they will be telling me to shut u pan go away. but for now they are humoring me, and I shall be taking advantage of that. I was temped to take my camera into the dentist with me the other day, but I didn't think the dentist would see the funny side of that.

The 50 lens is certainly a challenge to use. I really have to think about where I position myself when I take the photo and because I can't zoom in and out I also have to analyze what is in the back ground. I tend to take on image, see what it looks like and what I hate about it them move around the room to avoid the bits I don't like. Which in this house is a challenge all of its own.
