  1. We are hopeful of a beagle litter due around 17-18 November. Booked for an ultrasound today
  2. This whole story has just made the most wonderful reading. A precious old girl with an awesome owner! Such heartwarming stuff. Thanks
  3. Wonderful news Mini girl We look forward to some pics of the new arrivals.
  4. Woohoo I really look forward to seeing these little babies.
  5. OMG how easy is that! You don't even have to think about it I had little faith I might add Sway but I did exactly as you said, put one panel flat on the ground and another flat on top. Virtually just touched the spiral to the top, turned it and down it went! Couldn't believe it. Took me a while trying to remove the ones that I had tried to push around the sides though Thanks Sway just brilliant. Thanks also to everyone else that replied. You can all have a go now.
  6. OK, I'll try again ;) PS. I have a husband but he's even more useless than me :D
  7. Actually, that's one of the reasons that I asked - I thought maybe I'm just stupid but I can't seem to get the spirals on
  8. Hi A question for Dolers that use or have used the Bunnings compost panels as pens for pups/dogs - do you use the spirals provided or something else?
  9. Wow, you can see how poorly the positioning is in the first set. Seems to me the positioning is everything with these xrays? Even more important than the person who reads/scores them. How can you expect an accurate reading if the legs and hips are positioned incorrectly for the xray.
  10. Jumabaar, how awful for you and the family involved! Just one thing, don't throw the baby out with the bath water in regards to breeding. It may not be genetic as there are many causes of epilepsy and I would at least investigate further before deciding what to do. JMO
  11. Thanks Espinay2 Use it all the time when I had my children and with baby puppies, etc, and have often wondered why it was OK when whole milk was not recommended.
  12. Glad that she's going to be OK! Sorry it had to happen though Indigirl.
  13. Yes, I did the same with the puppy food. I also used a little in the dam's water - she would drink as much as she could get that way.
  14. Just a question about the Leerburg formula. If you are using yogurt, isn't this cows milk and won't it contain lactose? Can't be bothered googling.
  15. I've read that too indigirl. I can't offer any advice but hope your girl is OK. Do you have an emergency vet in Broken Hill? I'd imagine you'll get no sleep worrying so maybe you should take her in now. At least you will feel you are doing something.
  16. Is it just me..... We seem to be getting a few topics lately that just don't seem quite "right". The language is coming across as broken english on one hand and then other bits are perfect english with good spelling. JMO but something doesn't ring true to me.
  17. Wow this is interesting! I have never heard of conditional terms made by the stud dog owner. Obviously some may not allow use of their dogs for various reasons. I can understand with a rare breed why in this instance, but under normal conditions I wouldn't like anyone dictating to me what I can/can't do with my puppies.
  18. surely there has to be some reason - have they given one? I was thinking the same thing! What justification did they give?
  19. Is he food driven? As long as it's all bark and no bite I would get children to give him treats. Maybe a couple of neighbours kids can help out and make it a regular thing. He is probably scared of them due to their sudden movements and noise. As Persephone has suggested, a behaviourist may be the best way to go.
