Oh very cool! You are going to have to take loads of pics for us! Nothing much happening here, but she is taken to stretching now, a lil bit of hiding away, then runs around and finds me.. I think shes got at 3 in there, def 2 for sure! guess wont know till she has them but boy its one hell of a tum! lol. Good luck and do let us know when shes had them etc

We have another drop too.. 37.3 not enough but will check again in 2 hours or so. very lucky murmar, I have organised everything so im home now for rest of the week. (thought it would be next week) Shes licking herself a fair bit... and has started with the puppy dog eyes... the looks where they give you that make you go awwwww.... but it seems to be a permanent thing on her face LOL i need more pics and that is a beautiful staffy swelly belly!

Well this girl got me scratching my head for sure lol.. Temp was 37.8, so its about the same, not a cold day in NZ. She is def nesting though... Keeps coming back to me, urging me to go with her to her bed in the bedroom. Pups are still quite active so dont think its tonight lol... Now we got two dates to consider, either this thursday as a due date (quite possible, shes big) or the one I was given orginally, on the 23rd.. xing fingers for a Solo Xolo (love that too, very clever) oh the names you could have with that

I took her temp and it was 37.7 an hour ago Am going to take it again in another hour... shes started nesting.. BUT she did eat a lil something

The girl I have here who is almost 8 weeks (i think) has gone off her food. shell only have a few licks.. tried giving her tuna which she usually would scoff down, but she turned her nose up at it. She doesnt seem to want anything.. any advice? they are picky eaters at best of times, but am a bit worried as my girls only go off thier food when they are due to whelp... But theres been no panting/mesting/digging so id presume shes not anywhere near close

I had a girl who would do this too. Although it was phantoms all the way through. Went through a mini labor, she found a pup (soft toy) and would mother it for 3 days or so. Then shed be fine. She just needed time to get to terms with it. If you lost a baby you wouldnt get over it just like that either. Give her time, shell be fine. It just means she has strong maternal instincts.

I had a girl that even got milk... I was so sure she was.. she even had a mini labor. gave birth to a soft toy that she found in the lounge.. she was so attentive to it.. a few days later she was fine...

So sorry - though from a really selfish point of view I'm pleased its not just me.... We need our own puppyless support forum I think.. LOL... Its quite dissapointing, some people dont get it, but its like a woman who didnt conceive, but had hopes up. But the three of us will meet again in 6 months time

Got all fingers toes, paws and tounges Xed here for you. I do have a Q. though.. The girl I have staying with me, seems a LOT bigger than Id expect her to be at 7 1/2 weeks.... Can see the pups move in her belly, very cute.. I have only ever had small litters, is there an accurate way of telling if she is further along ?

YOu might as well get a xray of the entire dog, saves getting a xray in a few days LOL. If it was dangerous theyd cover her up, but if you were going to get it done, might as well find out count and size of pups too

Have been given a preggy pom to whelp as her owner has been called away due to family emergency and most likely wont be back in time. shes due 23rd nov. big as a house!!! Can i join in please????????? please???? Ill even use CAPITAL P's! Please!!!! cherry on top???

munted pups? well yes, as registered breeders whose aim is to produce healthier pups than before, we often screw up and have munted ones. What with DNA tests, vet checks, Xrays pennhipp scoring and eye checks, not to mention baer tests, and blood tests, and only breeding from the correct dogs, well you can see every litter there will 1 or 2 with an extra eye or leg or maybe half a body missing.. Occasionaly well even have a half dog half kitten, due to all these 'breed from the best' ethics. You hear it all the time. Oh sorry, im being sarcastic again

ah well Trisven,Ill see you again in here in 6 months or so LOL... was a bit dissapointing but ah well.... thems the breaks! Maybe no spare puppy dust for us this time
