  1. Gorgeous Tokkie. Nandi is certainly growing quickly.

    Rex

I don't come in here often as I find it too upsetting. I'm so sorry to read of Rex's passing. He looked like such a beautiful dog and you will miss him sorely. Take care Mon.
  3. Military dogs are quarantined and then repatriated. In years gone by military horses and dogs were PTS before the troops returned due to the costs of quarantine. It wasn't until after Vietnam and a number of petitions and offers to pay from dog handlers and families, that the decision was changed. The Australian War Dog Memorial is at Alexandra Headland on the Sunshine Coast.
  4. Amazing photos - you are all so talented. Congratulations on the awards.
  5. She's so beautiful. I love her little outfits.
  6. Thanks leighw - we think so :p We're very happy with Elbie's progress. He's a very loving and affectionate dog. He's about to face his first Canberra winter, though ;) As I see you're also in Canberra, I'm sure you know what I mean when I say brrrrrrr! Yes I do, that's for sure. I currently go home at lunchtime and walk my dogs when it's not so cold, but that will all change as in the next two weeks we're moving office and it's too far away to go home and too dark in the mornings.
  7. He's such a clever little Boy and very very cute.
  8. Tokkie, she's just gorgeous. Glad that Ringo is liking her too. Have fun with her and post lots of photos.
  9. That is so sad Baifra. Try not to blame yourself, but it must be hard not to. I hope you and your parents can come to terms with your loss, tragic though it is. Take care.
  10. I've only just found this threat - I just can't believe this has happened to poor Jed. She has been one of the stalwarts of DOL. My thoughts are with you, dearly lady. Please get well soon - if love is a healer, then plenty is coming your way.
  11. Great photos Bec. Asha is looking a treat.
  12. I go to the Prickly Poodle at Fisher but I'm not sure if Karen is taking on any new clients- she's a great groomer and is very devoted to her doggy clients.
  13. I've just bought some of the talc one. It's fantastic. My husband is a contract cleaner and uses on smelly garbage bins in offices. I spray in the morning before I go to work and the house smells non-doggy in the arvo when I get home. It really is good stuff.
  14. Gorgeous puppy and gorgeous photos. Well done again Bec.
  15. My dogs had fleas this year for the first time in their lives - more than 9 years and I freaked out too. We've never had problem with fleas while living in Canberra. It was actually our groomer that picked it up. I Frontlined all of them, washed all bedding and flea bombed. They don't seem to have any now but I'm keeping a vigilant eye on them.
  16. What a great job you've done and what a lovely dog he seems to be. It can only keep getting better and better. Well done.
  17. Hey Bec, what fantastic news. You must be so excited and proud. What a clever lot of DOL photographers we have here. Hopefully we'll get to see the ad on the screen here in Canberra and I can boast that I "know you". Well done.
  18. Fantastic news guys. Well done to all. Now on to the Nationals - hopefully you will do as well as you did in the Qld awards.
  19. Fabulous photos - well done to everyone involved.
  20. Gosh she can jump high. Fantastic shops of two lovely dogs.
  21. Brooke - I can't imagine what you must be going through - a devastating choice to make. I'm sorry I can't come up with a solution for you, but I'm sure you will make the right choice. The work you are doing with these kids is wonderful and very selfless. All I can offer is that I'm thinking of you and I hope it all works out for the best.
  22. Congratulations Ruth - I always love your photos. Well done.
