Hope that's not too many This is Snot and Diesel, when they get together there's just no stopping them! They are constantly on the go and we have to enforce regular timeouts between play fights

SNOT 1. He is the perfect only child He can amuse himself for hours playing with all of his toys. At my old house he would take his bouncy ball and drop it off the front step so he could chase it, take it back up and drop it again- to chase. 2. He is a typical smelly boy dog He has so many male traits it's not funny, he farts, he snores, and hes always slurping at his genitals. He has a hydro bath most weeks but he still smells faintly like a dirty ferret most of the time. 3. He hardly ever barks. His bark is pathetically cute and on the rare occasion that he does it's usually because he has lost a toy under the couch and wants my attention so I can come and fetch it for him. 4. He can't swim He fell into a swimming pool once and didn't even bob to the surface! 5. He is a total annoying bed hogg He has to be on you, he snores, he malts hair all over my doona and will wake up early to roll around like a feral pig making horrible noises and wiping his morning eye goobs all over my bed. Yet I still don't have the heart to crate him. 6. He is useless He would never survive 24 hours alone in the "wild" I'd be surprised if he survived 5. He is like a little baby and completely incapable. We used to hide behind trees sometimes on our walk, just to see the panic wash over his face when he couldn't see us anymore 7. He has two black spots on his chin He used to only have one, but within the last year he has grown another black spot just below it. I sometimes refer to him as Snotty two spots . 8. The secret code word to get him urgently running outside is: "Pussy meow meow" 9. He loves it when I scratch his armpits He gets a stupid look on his face (morso than usual) and stretches his front legs out like some sort of little superman dog. 10. He is my favorite His cuteness overwhelms me. He makes me laugh and smile every single day and I'd be lost without him. :D

It's an older one, a Canon EOS 300D. I haven't touched the saturation at all. I was about to say all of these were taken on auto but they weren't! It's the first time Ive actually mucked around with the settings while having it on AV.

Yep, all of those are straight from the camera. It was my first go using that lens, I borrowed it off my brother. I haven't even put the memory card back into it yet... so I still don't know whats wrong if it will work.. Baby steps... otherwise everything becomes too over whelming for me

These photos have been sitting on my camera for ages. When I was importing them onto my computer the files got corrupted somehow :D anyway, I finally took my memory card into a camera place and they managed to have them copied onto a disc for me. I'm a bit disappointed at the photos but thought I'd share anyway due to how much frustration they cause me! I didn;t suggest them because of their "image" I have owned both of these breeds before (male and a female) and while still being very friendly happy go lucky dogs towards people they were both VERY protective of me, especially if I was to be walking alone at night time. If I was to be approached by a dodgy looking stranger it's like something would switch on and their protective instinct would kick in. Most of the Bullys and Amsaffs I have known have been exactly the same with their owners

Nah, i got it secondhand. It still takes pictures perfectly and everything seems to function as normal but nothing will import to my computer.. I'm this............ close to smashing either my camera, or my mac..

Bull Terrier, Amstaff? I can't see either of these breeds running away if their owner was being attacked.

I just got home from work, turned on computer and tried as per normal but no such luck. Hey Ruth (I haven't sent a zip folder before) But I just tried to send them to you via what I am 90% sure was a zip folder and it said that it exceeds 10mb and was taking forever, so I have just attached a couple on their own to see if they will open for you that way? Kirislin- thanks for that idea, I will probably have to give that a try if it's not going to allow me to import my photos, ever... The only thing Ive changed was the fact I used a different lens on my camera? I don't see how that would make a diff tho? And the fact it has let a few of them slip through gives me hope that they are not "unrecognizable" at all...

I tried to open the files with every single program on my computer and nope, nothing. The thumb nails are not showing the actual photo, just the generic little img symbol which makes me think they are not even there to be opened.. I don't know what else to do really. :sigh:

Arghhhh! It transferred all of them over but once again all of the files are "unrecognizable" and wont open! (so it's not just iphoto, it's preview as well) This time it let three of the photos slip through?! Why only three of them and not all?! It took the same amount of time to import them as if it were importing the files normally... So annoying!!

Oo ok, after investigating another way to open the images without using iphoto I have managed to get the images copying over into a folder on my desktop. Fingers crossed!

Thanks for replying. I'm not sure what a card reader is but I don't think I have one? Is there another quicky program I could try and download/use instead of iphoto? tlc- I'm trying to import straight from my camera I have a stupid mac so no longer have a "my computer" I'm not sure if I can take them off manually the same way I could a pc. Def not shooting in RAW and I haven't changed any settings since my last import and I find it really strange that it's let one (now two) photos slip through ok but still saying the rest are unrecognized?

Does anybody have any idea at all? Anything I could try and do/fix?

I borrowed a lens off my brother today and took around 75 photos with it. I'm dying to see how they all turned out but when I import them over from my camera to the computer it comes up with "the files cannot be imported as they are in an unrecognized format"??!!! Then it lists all the files which look like this: QUOTE /Users/myname/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Import/Originals/Roll 1/IMG_6807.JPG etc The strange thing is, it has imported one single photo from the lot of photos taken today but not the rest? I haven't done anything differently or changed anything and just yesterday was transferring pics from my camera to the computer without any troubles. I hope there is a simple/ logical explanation and I'm not going to lose a days worth of photos, that would suck frown.gif Any ideas? It's frustrating as hell
