Yes Paranoia! LOL Ive been feeding raw for over 10 years & I am still alive The only dogs I know of that have suffered from such poisoning were from well known brands of canned food, losing multiple dogs Dogs are carvivores plain & simple, they are meant to eat raw meat & bones, they thrive on it, shed less, dont get illnesses like commercially fed dogs get, they dont smell, have small chalky faeces, and they simply love it. The only way your going to get salmonella poisoning is if you dont use basic hygeine methods of washing up utensils, chopping boards, food bowls etc.......that has nothing to do with the dog anyway as it is just basic common sense when feeding your human family too......

If my 20 dogs didnt have white chalky poo I would ALMOST be inclined to go to a VET Any dog that doesnt have this is obviously on a commercial diet!!!!!!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk vomit.

I would suggest getting rid of the Hills Science Diet......I wouldnt eat it either! Try some fresh (RAW) Lamb flaps (ribs) from the butcher, they will put weight on a dog well enough

When I was training I was given a book that had virtually every dog breed in it, but I gave it away many moons ago, and now I cant remember what it is called............It was rather good & had a ring spine so you could flip it to whatever breed it was & it would stay on that page........

Cavaliers are a NON trimmed breed.... never clip the coat unless the owner specifically asks for it

More often than not it can be tonsillitis, and even when they arent suffering a bout of it at that time they get in a routine of not eating as it hurts........ If it isnt tonsils (it is recurring) or any other medical condition..........you can try to increase appetite...........Periactin tablets over the counter at chemist, given 30 min before dinner will get him hungry, & hopefully break the "habit" of not eating..quater-a half tab should work, but it is a safe drug to use, but you will need to shove it down the throat Every non eater I have had come thorugh my doors have been tonsil sufferers though

This was a brand that was exposed on TV for containing 220 preservative (suphur dioxide) many years ago.....has anything changed I wonder??? My friends were feeding this a few years ago, and couldnt keep any of their dogs in coat,incessant scratching & hot skin........stopped using it & they were all miraculously cured!

In my experience these things usually clear up when the dog is detoxed off of grains & corn "fillers"......a completely raw diet should see it gone if it is yeast. There is a home remedy that many breeders use on chronic problems, but some ingredients are hard to get these days (

Not at all LOL I havent heard of anyone having it done here, but this is what happened with the gold bead implants, people & dogs that have had it done are thrilled with the results, yet it is only done by one or possibly 2 Vet specialists here (not sure about how common it is in people).I heard about this many years ago, yet it is only now being talked about in Australia. They are still using this stem cell treatment...I acttually have found articles that are from 2000........Now why isnt it offered here after all the years I wonder??? Perhaps someone does know of an Aussie vet who will do it.I have clients who are suffering HD that would have this done. Another story

I posted this to some of my email lists earlier tonight, amazing how quick things travel LOL Yes it works, and if it is $4000 in Canada/USA then it can be done much cheaper here....their prices are exorbitant as a rule........I know plenty of pet people who spend this amount trying to diagnose things....One last week rang me in distrees having spent $4000 trying to find out their Cavalier had Syringiomyelia.....Yep, thats what it was, but it is now dead at 17 months from a Grand Mal seizure............this condition has brain surgery in US & UK but not here.......Australia is very behind the times in alot of things Vet wise, we have very few "go getters" prepared to learn more, just usually happy to be a GP & a surgeon doing basic procedures.........There are peopel who will pay anythign to have their pet well again, but no experts here to do much or prepared to learn (((

400kg is not very much. But any car will pull that or more,occassionally, but they are not made too, and do it everyday then good luck!..........It is not safe too either, You should ring a mechanic or somethign to find out, as you will be booked to tow on a small vehicle............V6 is the only way........what you save in petrol on a small 4 cylinder will cost you when you blow up the engine on the small one..........

That seems exorbitant........Check how much it costs to send it to USA to Jean Dodds, probably cheaper than that! Your vet has no right to say you are leaving your dog "open".......it only shows he doesnt understand how Vaccines work Us humans dont go around being tested for our levels of Hepatitis & measles.........

It is the nasal spray that has done it..........Happens an awful lot .........The first & last time I ever used it was many years ago.........I thought I would lose a litter they were so sick, with green snot, severe lethargy, hacking their guts up etc.....the Vet reported it, and the drug company was to get in touch with me about it, I am still waiting!!!!!!!!! Tell the vet to put in an adverse reaction report, they need to stop using this on puppies!!!!

When I travelled for 3 years, the only books I took with me were his...........You can read them over & over again and always find something new in them that youve missed before, and his sense of humour is delightful
