Nine years old is way too old to be rehoming either of these dogs. But dog 1 needs to learn who is the boss in the house and it's shouldn't be him it should be a human. Five min time out isn't anywhere near long enough imo, put out in the yard for 1/2hr everytime dog 1 acts up. If you find time out doesn't work keep a squirt bottle with water in it and squirt dog 1 every time he acts up and see if that works. We have 6 large breed dogs all living harmonously in our house but none of them are the boss, us humans are and if there happens to be a grumble from 1 dog to another a loud arrhhh from us and that's the end of it.

Hi Sherel I have 6 retired couch potato greyhounds currently being fed EP holistic sardines & anchovies for approx 1/3 their diet and have been considering changing to Black Hawk. I guess my main concern is the size of the kibble, how does it compare to the EP holistic in size? The reason being my old girl has no teeth and the EP she manages without being soaked but any bigger would have to be soaked and of course I forget to do that. Also I live very close to KCC Park and was wondering if it would be possible for me to pop up on Sunday and get a sample please? You can pm me with details if you like. it is perfectly alright to feed raw eggs as long as the whole egg is fed. Yolk are full of biotin thus negating the egg white. I'm confused over this egg feeding - Everyone has always had different opinions on which part of the egg should be fed to dogs and which part shouldn't. It wasn't until I started feeding one of my old girls Satin Balls to try and put some weight on her and the recipe GAP Vic foster carers are given to fatten up Greyhounds only has yokes in it but when I looked up other recipe's some have just yokes, some have just whites and others have the whole raw egg. I have been throwing the whites away but I might try putting the whole egg in.
