Chocolate is by far my most favourtie colour for a dog.

I bought my first pedigree dog back in the 70's I was given her registration paper, pedigree and twelve months membership to the breed club. I remained a member of that club for a few years. Around four years ago I decided to join the club of my present breed and having some time on my hands was looking to be involved in some way. I was greatly disapointed never received a receipt for the membership so had no idea when renewal was and only received one news letter (no mention of renewal in that one) needless to say I never renewed membership and the club lost someone that really wanted to be involved.

Our dog with pancreatitis has kangaroo meat, natures gift the kangaroo one, rice and veges and a 4x2 biscuit, has been on this a couple of years now and has been fine.

I put in a claim with Pet Plan a few years back and found them hopeless. It took around three months to receive my cheque. All the paperwork was sent in correct as well as a copty the dogs vet records. After many phone calls saying the cheque is being sent (nothing ever came) they finally told me that the history was incomplete (the dog had no need to go to the vet for a bit) and they had to send a letter to all the vets in the area to see if I was one of their clients and if the dog had received treatment there. Needless to say when my next dog came to live with us I took out a policy with another company which is a lot cheaper.

So very sorry.

I had a very similar problem a couple of months ago. I loaded the photos onto my desktop ok but when I went to load them onto the laptop I got the message that the card needed to be formatted and I would lose all the images I thought this was rather strange.

They look like they could be brother and sister. Hope the babies arrive safe and well.

I tried just about everything to clean up my dogs eyes and nothing worked. I put him on angelseyes he now has no staining or gunkiness and he even smells better has a lovely soft coat and seems to be much happier in himself.

So very sad RIP Sarge.

One of my chihuahua's ate a young rat last week that the cat had kindly caught. Dog spent the night in the crate and I refused kisses from him for a few days.

our vet charged $33.30 for 120 mls and I thougth that was a ripoff.

We also feed our dog kangaroo meat, rice and veges as well a little natures gift the kangaroo one. Her biscuits are supercoat lite and she also gets a 4x4 every day. She has been on this diet for over eighteen months and has never had another attack.

Many years ago I worked at a chicken processing plant. Quite often if the daily kill was not enough to fill the orders the frozen chicken was thawed the night before and sold as fresh chicken. So I dare say people would have bought it and refroze it so it can be done.

I use Mortdale vets and have done for years both Julie and Karen are easy to get along with and yes still miss Ben was very good to us. Mortdale also have very good hours compared to some of the others. Been to the one on Forest rd next to the pub and found them ok, but found they were like I'm the vet and you are the client. Tried the one on Boundry rd and found them no good. They wanted to desex my dogs when they had eaten, wouldnt vaccinate without an appointement. While there someone came in to buy heartworm tablets and they wouldnt sell it to them cause they hadn't previously bought it from them nor had they had their dog tested there. My daughter took a pregnant guinea pig there for a shot of oxy and they refused to treat it as they were dog and cat vets only.

We have a dog here with pancreatitis she is fed kangaroo meat, rice and veges, Natures Gift kangaroo, and 4x2's hope this is of some help.
