I fondle other people's dogs all the time. I would in no way place it in the same category as fondling the dog's owner!
-
Just use it once to make them jump off and follow up straightaway with a long acting flea prevention treatment. It is not supposed to be used frequently or long term.

I love looking at these pics, but a reminder to people -PLEASE don't quote the pics!

Nup, no sense at all. A mutt is a mutt is a mutt

No way is that due to teething. Have a chat to her breeder and explain what is going on and see if they have any ideas. Please don't get your dog vaccinated or desexed until you find out what is wrong. Sounds like you are on the right track eliminating possible environmental causes. Sounds awful and very frustrating. Send an email to Steve and ask her advice http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?showuser=199

Minky try emailing Steve http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?showuser=199 and alert her to this thread.

Well said Jed. And don't you dare pull YOUR head in
-
Did you show her?
-
Pull your head in Stonebridge. Obviously you are perfect So sorry for the loss of your pups Minky. Must be devastating for you. Hope you get to the bottom of the cause.

Do you have a stacked pic?

bolded bits are actually laws, not beliefs nah, it's just good healthy discussion. If you find it insulting i am sure you can find another thread to read or participate in.

What does the vet think she has "done" to the ligaments?
-
You need to speak with the breeder. If the breeder is worth their salt, they should take the pup back. Get a diagnosis first. puggy the OP was asking about showing, not breeding.
-
An experienced breeder would surely know if there was PRA in their lines. Suggest you speak to the breeder and see what they have to say about it. So you bred the pup that has the problem?
-
Paps are prone to PRA which most certainly is genetic, but it would appear there is no test available?? How much knowledge do you have of the health issues in the breed? http://www.gtg.com.au/AnimalDNATesting/ind...uid=080.150.010 Wouldn't it be better to take your dog to an eye specialist?
-
Settle down, it's probably nothing. Pups sometimes throw up and it is nothing to be concerned about unless it continues. Maybe a mild reaction to the vacc or the stress of the vet visit. Keep an eye on her, she may have eaten something she shouldn't have (as pups do) and her body has already dealt with it. No need for vet unless she is obviously ill...ie. has symptoms such as lethargy, not eating, diarrhoea etc. If she is happy and playing as per usual, leave her a few hours then give her another light meal later.

Yes, I mentioned that.

My two cents worth, many judges don't like to judge the youngsters as they are changing so much all the time as they grow, and it would be made doubly difficult if there was no others to compare the dog against. You may have a perfect looking speciment at 6 months that is in a pet home by 12 months, so to want to wait till a dog is mature is a fair call i think. On the other hand, the judge needs to be judging the dog as they see it on the day... so, there you go. Judge's make the call. Some will make one call, some make another.

That's an awful lot of vaccinations in a short time. Try another vet, get a recommendation from here for someone in your area and then send the bill to the breeder. Also put him on a good supplement such as Polyvite to boost his immune system and give him lots of drinks, goats milk and puppy milk etc.

:D Touchy!

I'll put it another way to try and help you understand Do you think he would he have considered a name like Cuddles or Blossom for a Pit Bull or Bull terrier?
-
I wouldn't trim it off. Dogs need fat in their diet and process it differently to humans. They don't get high cholesterol (can't remember who told me that or know the reason why)
