  1. Whatever.., it is actually unlikely to put a stop to "cosmetic" docking, but hopefully it will put a stop to vets who practice interstate without firstly organising their license to practice in that state! My understanding is that vets CAN dock in WA for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes - IF they are registered.
  2. Yes, and for goodness sake, make sure you are registered with the appropriate state body first.
  3. The OP has already stated that they are going for option two and not the original pup.
  4. I would not call that an idiot dog. She is probably enjoying the warm sunshine and soaking up some Vitamin D. She is pregnant, not sick.
  5. How incredibly sad. Rocco, you made us all fall in love with you from the amazing photo series your Mum shared with us. We will all miss you. Deepest condolences to Rocco's humans...and also to little Ralph.
  6. I'd be concerned if both are not down by 8 weeks. They should really be there by 6 weeks. if you are planning to show him, you would be taking abig chance if both are not down at time of purchase. Is the other one easy to find?
  7. Can you please clarify if they were accidental back yard bred dogs, or purposely bred designer mixes?
  8. Pets at Home has 10kg boxes for 24 bucks.
  9. Such a naive statement. Thanks Steve.
  10. 20 years, what a grand old age.. RIP Abbey.
  11. They won't pay out for pre existing conditions.
  12. If you do a search you will probably find that your questions have all been answered in the Puppy Forum
  13. Why ask here? Surely ringing your vet would be the best way to get an accurate price
  14. How long since you had wormed him?
  15. With respect, you are unlikely to have a problem if you don't make any claims.
  16. See post 8 in this thread. 36 hours notice was given.
  17. Yes, vets are good at that diagnosis type stuff. What are you saying? You are thinking of taking the dog to a freind instead of a vet
  18. Did the cats launch themselves at you a second after the shots were taken and claw your face off?
  19. Just an aside - where did I say I fondle strange dogs without permission? You are now not only avoiding my simple question, you are now putting words in my mouth
  20. Ahh thank you muchly Ashanali. Tis indeed a lovely instrument, but I fear it would still not help me to get people to understand simple questions
  21. Thanks for trying Jed I had to give up due to sheer frustration. Could be a comprehension issue, but more likely plain old avoidance due to being unable to admit to being wrong.
  22. Do you go to jail for patting someone else's dog? Why do you not understand what I am asking you? It is not that difficult. Here is my question for the third and last time.
  23. Nothing is clear in your posts. You don't go to jail for fondling strange dogs, so still waiting for an answer to my question Now add to that, stealing or using other people's property doesn't equate either I will leave you to your strange ponderings before my brain melts.
  24. I fondle other people's dogs all the time. I would in no way place it in the same category as fondling the dog's owner! Then you fondle someone else's dog uninvited to do so at your own risk You missed the point. As I stated, I would love to know how you can equate fondling a strange dog to interfering with/fondling a strange person
