  1. get your Mum to ask the groomer what products were used on the dog, and was there anything new or different used this time.
  2. that's good then. Been wondering how you went
  3. I would be horrifed if he was left with one testicle still there! That would be extreme incompetence. He could have a haematoma, or blood collection. perhaps there is a little bleeder still leaking or it has coagulated and that is why it feels firm. Can't wait to hear the outcome of this one :D
  4. I never feed lamb offcuts as the bones are too fine and hard. Lamb necks, are fine however.
  5. Actually sticking plaster works well as it keeps it clean and allows it to heal. I have used it a couple of times with good effect. The trouble is finding one that is sticky enough to stay on. It is never a problem getting it off. Keeping it on can be a problem though. Quicks heal up very quickly and a new nail will soon grow through. I don't understand why the nail would need to be removed. That would just open up the area and make it more likely to get infected.
  6. It'll be fine. Give it a good clean with Betadine and wrap some tape around it - actually stick the tape to the nail, elastoplast or something supersticky. It will heal and the nail will grow back
  7. What do you feed, how much, and how often?
  8. I very much doubt that his diet would cause "unbelievable sores". Have you had him to a vet? If not, you need to.
  9. brown puddles don't sound so good to me. It means faecal overload. There is probably a huge mass of dry stuff still in there and the fluid is leaking around it.

  12. sorry if I have missed somehting, but why do you only spend two hours a day with your dogs? and, how much of that is exercise, training, bonding, good quality time, etc?
  13. I think it sounds mechanical too.
  14. Oh she is gorgeous!!! I'd say she has a fair bit of Jack Russell in her. Just guessing though. What does she weigh?
  15. How is Spanky today? I hope they find a cause for the pain. Pain relief is a good thing, but I hope it is not masking an underlying undiagnosed problem.
  16. This threa may help. http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...&hl=heywood
  17. Was this a regular vet? If so, I would try a canine chiropractor before going the CT scan route.
  18. Ring the vet. Panadol is NOT safe for dogs. http://www.doglistener.co.uk/medical/toxins.shtml
  19. Hello kja, I am so sorry for your loss. Can I ask if you have another dog?
