2tollers that is fantastic.. you ARE getting better.. well done Risyntira- I know exactly how you feel, I was having that problem today. I really have to get some more "elegant" frames for the "blackouts" Bluecollie will work on something for a siggie for you.. but maybe someone else might beat me to it.. Some awesome work going on here :double thumbsup: snarfarema- I generally work in the 2000mpx size too. My biggest problem I an running to much other stuff I think. 1gig ram just isn't cutting it any more ok back to work...

I can relate .. having lots of layers is an absolute nightmare I can't count the amount of times I have crashed PSP and lost everything only to have to start again because of having too many layers. Hey snarferema got a project for you since you do such lovely drawings.. I was sondering if you could do a Rainbow bridge one, ( I really don't like the one I have done ) that we could put the beloved pets on that have passed over??? Don't worry if you can't but its something I have been looking at doing and just can't seem to get it right. Was thingking something with depth, so that the picture could be placed either in the forground or maybe on the otherside of a rainbow coloured bridge.. What do you think???

The shadow effect is a plugin I use with PSP its calle Eye Candy 4000 so isnt a feature of PSP

2tollers When you use the eraser tool have it set to 85% so it doesnt give you that "serated" edge. To fix the rough edges use the softening tool ( as small as possible.. ) Use your + and - tool to to enlarge the picture ( pixilate it) so you can get to as close to the egde as possibe

Hi 2tollers Ok in Paintshop you go to your tools and next to the one that looks like the eraser, the is the softening tool. This tool has options and BURN is one of them, You can do the dark background one of two ways. 1st- creat 2 layers 1 layer with your subject and the 2nd layer is black.. the erase the background of the 1st layer.. OR Use the burn tool to darken the backbround. The show effect is done with a pluging called EYE Candy 4000 so it isn't a feature of PSP or Photoshop to my knowledge Hope this helps Maree

vetnrs- Copying programs is illegal, however I do know that some of the computer mags occassionally have free versions of Paintshop Pro 8. You can buy the student version of Corel PaintShop Pro XI online fairly cheaply...
