  6. Hi there Jed Just popping in to say Hi. Awesome find with the joggers. Hope there are more silver linings each and every day from here on in hugs from Tasmania
  7. Morning Jed, It's a nice day today with the sun shining ( it probably was yesterday also, but the fog didn't lift long enough to know. Would have made an awesome twilight scene) Today is another towards healing. I hope it is a good day for you. One day at a time, just take it one day at a time. I hope you can feel our love for you when you read our messages
  8. Dear Jed, Reading about your wonderful miracle boy Mangus made me laugh at his naughty antics and bravery but one can't help by cry as the reality of it all hits home with the painful realisation he is master of his domain at the rainbow. Gentle hugs..... ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Jed this is just a thought but with each tribute you have placed here the has been a beautiful and moving story. And more than likely more stories that you haven't told. Maybe these can be converted into a book as a keep sake with all the pictures you are able to recover. It could be done quite easily through the photo centres like BigW or online and we could put the stories into a jpeg format ( i can do it through PSP for you) so they can be printed also. Its just a thought
  9. Hey there Jed Another day to the road to recovery.. it may be a bumpy ride but one you will eventually achieve as each day goes by. My look at these comfortable chairs with the lovely throws.... ooops sorry didn't realise the cavies where there, never mind, the floor looks comfy as i lean against a chair and snuggle a whippet or 2 and crab a coffee, and some home made choc-chip biscuits that i made earlier. Just remember we are here for the long haul, to help you every step of the way. Just hope your friend doesn't mind a guest or 20 invading there magically expanding lounge room ((((((((((((((((((((((hug))))))))))))))))))
  10. Jed I don't think there is a person here who would judge you as being uncaring or anything remotely like it, and we all can empathise with the depth of your feelings for the furbabies you lost. Even though many of us have lost dogs in tragic circumstances, none of it would come close to what you have gone through. Just remember we are all here for you and we will help in what ever capacity is needed. You may never recover from losing your babies, but you will love others with the same depth and whilst they won't replace any that you lost, they will help fill a little of the gap that they left. It all seems so difficult now, but you will find your way back. what you have gone through has changed you forever, but you will get to a place where life is once again good. ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))) ))))))))))))))
  11. Jed speak to your nurse about the pain it might pay to go to a GP for a script for something when the pain is really bad ( since your GP is probably too far away)
  12. Believe in yourself Jed, and your friend and the Blue Care Nurses that come to tend to your needs. You will improve in leaps and bounds now that you are out of hospital, and I am more than sure your friend welcomes the opportunity to take care of you. That is what friends are for Yes you may well need a nurse, but now you have your own personal one. Just remember you also have an entire forum waiting, wanting and willing to help you at any time... you only have to ask. ::: Passes Jed a cuppa and some Tim Tams::
  13. I know your not happy about being discharged but you will improve much quicker being out of hospital and have less infection risks. Let us know if there is anything that we can do to help or help the person caring for you. ((((( hugs))))) H
