I love Jacks

My 16 month old dog's molar just broke off after he grabbed his toy bone I was holding. You can see the gums where the tooth used to live. Has anyone experienced this before? I don't know if it's a baby tooth or whether he knocked out an adult tooth, but it just fell out and he tried to eat it before I grabbed it. He enthusiastically - he's a terrier after tall - plays tug of war with that bone and another toy, so I don't know what just happened.
