Sadly on Monday night (29th October) we had to give our beautiful big boy Sambucca his angel wings. Sadly his hips and spine had gone and he had a heart anuerism, he was in pain and we had to make the decison to set his soul free... such a beautful noble dog, a smart and sassy boy who touched all of our lives. You will be so missed. Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near... And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear All of my love around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and "Welcome Home."

Grotty gets confused and now sneezes when I say 'speak'

Shoemonster last night at Rottweiler Club Training they were talking about this and are getting people and dogs ready to get fit and ready. I thnik the youngest they could be was 18 months old. You are doing better then me doll, I can lend you a Rotty too

I so seldom come here as I do not feel I really know the dogs BUT Pyro was such a part of DOL and all of us. Your stories and photos of Pyro have touched us all Warley. My love to you and the family at this time You never forget. xxx

sounds like he has channelled all the nutrients in Nutrience to one body part !!!!!!!

Hiya Terror, I used Nutrience on the Grotty Rotty as he was growing - it was fine - but his turds resembled elephants ! So both are now on Supercoat and have great coats, smaller turds and a better bank balance (me, not them) Like most things ya just have to see what works best for your fuzzies.

Haven - exactly! Silliest thing I have ever heard, my boy cannot get anough of cuddles either. He stalks people looking for a cuddle ! :p

sunny70 my first ever post here on DOL was about this very thing with my rottweiler pup. I had people telling me he had agression issues, told not to cuddle him as rotty's hate cuddles. Best bit of advice was to go and have him checked by a dog pyhsio. I did this and they found his back leg was hurt hence everytime I cuddled him , he growled as it hurt him. It was fixed and now he is the most passive dog who cannot get enough cuddles. GR

My current Rottweiler - now three years old fits that description..... oh but I forgot about the pulling fence palings off and running away part - but that was not in the criteria
