  1. we have used them the last 2 yrs at Mt Gambier as its 4 -5days of showing and we normally do them the day before we leave or the morning of. we normally used it after the showing on second day. its great coz we take them for a swim then to the dog wash, i take my own dryer and put 2 dogs in at once 8-) im a dog groomer and i love them could almost have one at my work lol oww and i use the dryer to get the some water off them put them in crates/dog trailer to we get back to where we are staying C

  6. i have a dog who is a Eurasier and now i dont show her and she is desexed i clip her in summer and she is a hell of a lot cooler and feels alot younger .the same thing happened the first time i clipped her, so i clipped her again and her hair has grow back better after that. i do alot of BC clips at work as this is what the farmers want. i also find first time clips do same thing and then the next time grow back better. but i guess not all dogs will, old dogs of most breeds get patchy when clipped. good luck Claire

Sounds like giardia, my kids (as did alot of others in the area) had this early in the year from drinking rain water i wont forget the smell. dogs can get it too, when i worked at a kennel we had a few dogs get it after drinking from a puddle or rain water. hear is the link http://priory.com/vet/giardia.htm good luck and i hope they get better soon Claire
  10. my Euraiser didnt eat well for years till Faith my female wei came, when Faith is finished she hangs near my other dogs bowl till the other dog ate or she ate it for her. now she eats really well or she may loose it lol maybe another dog?? Claire
  11. add that you are strong, something you need to be to lift dogs in and out of baths ect. i work as a groomer on my own and it really does your back in. i have trained a few people and really if u know dogs you will be fine. you could always start grooming from home to get some prac too. good luck Claire

  15. Hello all, My Eurasier nearly died from Immune mediated thrombocytapenia too, and my vets say it was from her yearly vac as it was not long after it she became VERY ill. My vet refuses to give her Vac any more, and i havent. im so glad im not the only one to have delt with this due to Vacs too. Claire
