My god that's a beautiful puppy! I was telling one of the locals who has a kelpie about your wombat . -
I seem to recall someone on here describing an incident where their pup inhaled beans and ended up in intensive care. As for toys for the OP - dont stress. Truth be known your pup is going to enjoy toilet rolls and empty plastic drink bottles just as much as an expensive toy.

Kelpie I think you've been a bit slack on the photo front. You're just giving teasers. I say you need to bombard this thread with photos of the fat little porker wombat baby. *goes off to add kelpie to the wishlist* -

He's definitely a porker and he has a very kind face. Love him. All the best with your first show. -

Baby wombat. Very cute! -
I do indeed.

In what way. They're already tight. I'd like to see restrictions tightened on shock collars for novices - I see those in the wrong hands as cruel.
-
I dont doubt it, Lyn

No attitude. If you dont want to pick up your camera for a month, no one is holding a gun to your head. I see you're still posting photos anyway so obviously your need for a month long break was pretty short lived. Good for you Keep posting. Your photos are great.
-
You need stronger suspension, Lyn!
-
Oh my god he's huge! Check the dip in the couch
-
So enjoy your break. Meanwhile the rest of us will appreciate the fact Lea took the initiative to start the May challenge.
-
Que? Sorry Ash but who made you the photo nazi? I dont see people running out of inspiration at all and I'm loving their photos. Thankgod for the May challenge.

How did you keep your dog quiet for the 2 weeks after surgery, colcha? This is what worries me with mine. Bird flies over - barks his head off.
-
You havent met my dog Actually I was really impressed with her reaction the first time I tried it. She's obviously not as dumb as she looks - just incredibly spoilt by us because she was sick as a puppy and is still being fed 5 times a day.
-
Thanks Steve. Very helpful as usual. Much appreciated. I might end up with a normal dog after all (although that's highly debatable)
-
My pug breeder saw pug in action recently - she goes absolutely ape when her food is being dished out, spinning in circles etc. Breeder suggested your triangle of temptation. All I've done so far is hold the bowl at my chest height, tell her 'Quiet' and as soon as she looks at me I put the bowl down and say good quiet. It's working so should I progress to tieup or just continue on as is, Steve? Thanks in advance. Now off to read the whole thread.
-
When my pug had it i refused to use the rinse or the oral so just went with a tick collar and tried to get her food right. It was all clear within 2 months.

Hi colcha, There is a very good vet in Hills District who will debark but you need a stat dec and any copies of reports from council or the police would be a good idea. I'll ask around to get the clinic details for you.
