Confused about what exactly? Do you really think it's acceptable in our society for non authorised people to break into properties under the cover of darkness, take footage without consent, uplift animals and then splice the footage for maximum public outrage? And you referred to Oscars Law as 'it'. I assume you think the Law in the name pertains to legislation? It does not. Oscar's Law is a 'them'. It's an animal rights group. Maybe if you're confused you should do a search on the forum for all the other threads about it.

Its not breaking the law of the land its breaking Dogs Victoria rules. My question relates to whether the intent of breeding from a dog sold with clear indication of not for breeding could actually be challenged in a court if the breeder should choose to try & do so. In theory. This is the part that seems to be confusing everyone. Interesting. Limit register just means the offspring cant be registered. I dont think there's anything stopping someone buying a dog and turning it an unregistered sausage factory. it would be like selling a maserati and then threatening to sue the buyer for on selling it to someone who just wants a paddock basher

It just says costs, so that probably takes into account court costs plus food, medication, desexing etc etc for the entire time the dogs were in their care. Until the courts awarded custody of the dogs to the RSPCA, they weren't the owners, but were obliged to care for the animals, so have now claimed those costs from the owner. They were seized in October and the initial court matter when the RSPCA were granted custody was early March. That's five months i dont care. What other charity in Australia is answerable to no one but is allowed to set up their own prosecutor on a committee whre a committee member gets to fling tens of thousands of dollars in costs each court case to his own legal firm. Disgraceful! The police prosecutor should be handling these matters in Magistrates Courts!

How can the rspca justify 15,000 bucks in court costs for an ex parte matter that probably took less than ten minutes?
