What? I was simply disappointed that MEH's suggestion of a stripping demo was removed. I thought it was a good suggestion, especially because I have a traditionally stripped breed. That could be taken so out of context for a non dog person However as an owner of shorthaired breed grooming demonstrations on various breeds would really facinate me ;) Oh damn what a shame. Stripping is amazing and seeing what they can do to a dog is quite incredible.

What happened to MEH's post about stripping? This is a great idea. There are some really amazing strippers who are showies. I'd pay to see them strip their terriers.

I think dogs are pretty much like people when it comes to walkies. Some like to dawdle and sniff the roses while others like to storm troop and feel the breeze in their hair. Mine are storm troopers which suits me but there is a lovely old man with an old Dane in my suburb and they just potter along like two old slippers. It's very cute.

Yep I agree. One of my dogs starts up a chorus at about 3am. She's joining in with a couple of night birds.

Bloody hell, Willow. That's just horrible. I have my foot on the brake if I see a dog on one because it's no different to a dog offlead. something can happen in a second. Poor dog - poor driver - poor owners. No one wins

For me it's no doubt based on what I've seen in suburbia with little dogs on extenda leads who suddenly dart onto the road, and whenever I drive by one I'm really conscious it could happen right infront of me. I just dont like them and would never use one.

She cried. Can you believe that, Henrietta. She put her dog in the car and then came over and burst into tears. She was so desperate to do the right thing by her dog and had to walk him at 4am just so she wouldnt be in a potential horrible situation with some arrogant bloody yuppie idiot. Really lovely lady and absolutely gorgeous dog.

Hey join the club. How hard is it, though. I was about to take my dogs into the local dog park at stupid o'clock one morning when a woman called out - do you mind waiting for me to leave because my dog (giant breed) has anxiety problems. no biggy - I just sat and waited outside. She said the number of times people refused was just incredible, poor woman.

Well I was going to answer but seeing as you find my posts irrelevant and uninteresting i think I'll go and play with someone who has a bit of joy in their life and doesnt treat the internetz as a uni classroom. CYA

It beggars belief, doesnt it. What on earth makes people think it's ok to yell out to a stranger - hey I'm doing the wrong thing here because my dog is good with other dogs. Then if your poor little anxious dog lunged at the approaching dog there'd be all hell to pay. Just shaking my head.
