If some moronic Animal Rights loonie wants to come and tell me my dogs have Rights, they can cash me up with the tens of thousands of dollars I've spent on vet bills first - I'm sure my dogs didnt want to be stuck in a vet clinic being prodded with medication they didnt ask for but I forced it onto them so my bad. I could do with the dough so hand it over, loonies. Animals have Rights? *snort* Pull the other one and it'll play jingle bells.
-
Isnt it funny - if my dogs had Rights they'd probably say they dont want to have their balls chopped off, want to run around the neighbourhood barking their heads off and kill cats, eat shit out of garbage cans, drink out of open sewers and sleep wherever they feel like it. My dogs dont have Rights - they're not little humans in fur coats.
-
And my belief cant get simpler than what it is either. Animals dont have Rights anymore than a tree does. Scuse me - my animals just asked for some beluga caviar before they pee on the tree in the backyard and I have to tell them they dont have the Right to ask for the beluga

You've never struck me as an Animal Rights Loonie, Schnauz. You still dont...unless you go and B&E or kill some animals in order to demonstrate that animals have Rights (which I think is even loonier than just loonie). You have never made me think you would do that kind of loonie shit, babe. Do you go out there and do loonie militant shit in order to prove that animals have Rights when they dont?
-
Hi Schnauz, You know I love ya mate, but animals dont have Rights. I asked my dogs to get off the lounge and come here to tell you themselves but they told me they dont have an opposable thumb so cant possibly pick up a pen to vote on whether or not they have Rights. they then said - Hey slave...go and pick up my poo, make my dinner and make my bed neat enough to get into tonight. Animals dont have Rights. If you keep telling me they do I'll just say you're an Animal Rights Loonie.

[quote name='Black Obsession' timestamp='1317782650' Not every person who believes in Animal Rights is a "loonie", Yes they are. Sorry lovey - animals dont have Rights.

I stopped reading at 'Animal Activists'
-
It's amazing, isnt it. And they wonder why people call them irrational loonies
-
I'm amazed no one has commented on this yet. So these 'animal rights' loonies want to protest a dog breeding establishment that doesnt even exist yet but they think it's perfectly acceptable to release helium balloons into the environment which will then slowly kill the wildlife that swallow them? Nice move. Clearly wasnt thought through very well, was it.

People hear about the US president because he's the US president. Ya really think people all around the world hear about the Australian PM because of a puppy her boyfriend bought her for her birthday? Dear god. Just shaking my head.
-
He probably thought the same thing I did if he saw it - Oscar's Law people are completely irrational. Oscar's Law - I'll give it one thing...she had the wiles about her enough to think that dumping Law at the end of a dog's name made stupid people think it was legislation of some type.
-
Oh sorry but what a load of crap, td. He's buying her a puppy - end of story. Yeah it's disappointing but you really think the 'rest of the world' even has the Australian PM on Red Alert because her boyfriend buys her a mongrel? It will reflect on the whole nation on a global scale? Come on...get serious. People buy puppies every day of the week.

Tell your son I'll have to get back to him on that point.

Dont get me wrong, I think Julia's partner has made a huge mistake in this, but I just kept my comments in this thread reserved for flag protocol because that was pretty tame in relation to how passionate I knew people in this thread were going to get (thus my original buckle up piccie). I still think the posts being thrown around on that fb wall just make people look insane
-
I wasnt talking about people who rescue animals from cruelty, schnauzer - I was talking about the mob comments on that fb page. I think what's going on over on that wall is appalling and is certainly not doing anyone in the dog world any favors. Sorry for the mix up, schnauz.
-
Yes that's what I thought, Nic. If it had just been a puppy shot on a breeder's website I wouldnt have thought anything of it, but her name and the office of PM attached to it for the purposes of promoting something - looks really bad, doesnt it.
-
And dont they look like a bunch of animal activist nutjobs.
-
Give it 5 minutes...oh hang on I was thinking of an American movie. hang on a sec *looks around nervously* can ya hear those choppers?
-
Dontcha think they'd have gofers watching this thread as well? You've asked people on here to flood them, toydogs - you're probably about to get swamped by guys jumping out of a chopper hovering over your house
-
I'd actually like to see them lose the sale for that breach of flag protocol while using Gillard's position as Prime Minister. Wrong Wrong Wrong.
-
Does it really?? Is there somewhere that can be reported?? Yep. Ring up the 7pm project, spot. I'm sure Hughsie would love to have a crack at that.
-
I wonder how Julia feels about a photo promoting her new puppy breaching flag protocol
-
I must say, I splurked a good swig of coffee when I saw it, spot

Urm spot, you might want to edit your spelling. There is a for that. Keep in mind kids have access to this forum
