I would think so. There are still plenty of dogs around who were docked prior to the ban.

Bison The Rottweiler And His Lymphoma Battle
raz replied to DerRottweiler's topic in Palliative Care Forum
I cant get over how big the swelling was. Any wonder you were so anxious about it. Gee he's looking good so quickly though, Doctore. Keep up the positive work, buddy. -
I groaned all the way through it. It started as soon as they mentioned Western Union and Cameroon, got much louder when Don Burke came on (I mean really? Asking a gardener???) and then finished when I threw the cushion at the tv with the pet shop comment.
-
Amazing, isnt it. About time people woke up and smelt the coffee. That segment was just a plug for buying puppies from pet shops. Very disappointing.
-
That's the first thing I thought as well, Pers. Staggers syndrome from mouldy food. Not hard to imagine in this wet weather we've had all year.

I wouldnt be surprised if it was sock puppets set up by chrysler to get free publicity. I cant imagine any normal person would see that ad and think 'bestiality' then spend their time complaining about it rather than just change the channel.
-
Oh good grief. Bestiality? What goes through some peoples' minds is just staggering. Maybe they should spend the time seeing a shrink rather than watch ads and then complain about them because of their own closet fetish addictions. Weirdos.

The last time I walked into a petbarn I ended up with a massive spider on me and felt totally embarrassed when I yelled get this off me!!! infront of other customers. Maybe I should have sent them a bill for all the valium I needed after And no, it wasnt a pet spider.

That's pretty clear. The Coroner in this case is a she, not a he, so maybe read the article before accusing others of having comprehension problems. -

I hope she actually does demand a closed court. I cant imagine the grief the family will go through if a bunch of dog people are in there thinking they are 'protecting the rights of dogs'. Beggars belief, doesnt it. -

I didnt say you cannot state your opinion, but if you make a silly comment, expect that others will state their opinions on it as well. -

As I said, an inquest is there to determine date, time, place and cause of death - it's about the deceased. The Coroner may then make a recommendation which is sent onto the relevant statutory body. It is not a trial so before people spout garbage that 'it's going to prove that pitbulls are killing machines', maybe they should leave their kangaroo courts in their own loungerooms and let the Coroner do her job. As Telida Whippets said, wait for the Coroner's Report before making such silly comments on a public forum. No one is a psychic and cannot possibly decide what a Coroner's findings will be months before the Inquest. Maybe people should learn to have a little respect. A tiny little girl is dead. -

What a load of rot. It will determine date, time, place and cause of death. It's then up to the coroner if she decides to make recommendations. This is not about the dog - it's about the little girl who was killed! -
If you want a Dane then get one, Aussie. If you want a particular breed, go for it and enjoy each day you have with them. At the end of the day, any life span of a loved one is going to be too short anyway so may as well just enjoy them while we have them .
-
Well in that case I hope you shot back with something like - how about you learn to be a responsible parent and look after your own kid when he goes to school rather than put the pressure on me to make a babysitter for the little darling.
-
Surely that's just a throwaway line? I think that's pretty cute from new parents 'Hey why dont you have one so our kids can be besties'. If they were serious, that's a different matter.
-
you know what's really funny, GT - all the people who say they dont like little kids are probably donating money to the scammers ripping people off with this Look At Me I'm a Film Maker Let's Lock Up Kony carry on to save the children in Uganda.

Zac is gorgeous. I'd like to dress him up in some dolly clothes with double velcro.

I know. I'm such a bad dog owner. I had someone tell me off one day because I called her a runt rather than a teacup. I said - gee my dog who has a dessicated pea for a brain even knows the difference between a runt and a teacup. I dont think I made a friend that day Looking forward to meeting you and Keshwar. You two and Poodie can feed me to the hounds for making my runt walk on a lead rather than carry her in a Paris Hilton style handbag. You know, I'm just too lazy. She has 4 legs so she can bloody well use them. Aussie - poor Pancake? I'll drop her off at your place for a week and I'll guarantee you one thing...when she wakes you up at 3am every morning for 7 days in a row you'll be thinking something else.
-
dont be a goose, Mags . She's a dog. I make the little runt walk.
-
OK. I promise to protect you, Poods.

Pav Lova made it with double velcro so the little darling cant escape from it. And to humanise her even more, she's rather like me - bounces back pretty quickly from a slap down so a whippy slap down wont hurt much.
