Just wanted to share. Did a little bit of playing with light and things with the dog photos, because it was getting quite dark.

I believe it's a flamingo lily

Here's a couple more for you, Jenni My mum loves them, too- I took a huge series of daffodil shots the other day, I'm just finishing editing them
-
I know the Lumix series is also a pretty good one to look at, but I'd probably recommend Ixus.

Thanks a lot Linda I love that one of the jonquils, with the touch of purple in the background. Yes, Sam and her gorgeous doggies came up to see her parents and we met up for a doggy play date I'll add all my photos to the other thread, never got around to doing it. I think Sam's were better

Jed, you are a wonderful and amazing woman. I don't know you well but I look up to you with a lot of respect and admiration. I wish you all the best for a fast recovery and hope that each day gets easier for you. -
Awesome photos Sam, the lighting and atmosphere in that 4th one is INCREDIBLE. It was really awesome meeting you, hope we can do it again! Maybe when I'm in VIC next I'll post my photos soon, just trying to edit them all still
-
They're superb Sam, dunno what you're on about!
-
Haha, they're gorgeous Helen Jealous that you got to photograph a Lappie, too :D
-
They're absolutely stunning Linda! Sorry you didn't get a chance to take any shots Hopefully next time. I truly love that first one, the detail is just amazing...all the water flicking up in the back.

Hi all :D Turning to you guys for feedback again because you seem to be the only people that really offer it So hope you don't mind. This is a series I did of Misty the other day. I was pretty happy with all the shots but I think a few stand out more than others. I couldn't really decide on my favourites, though-
-
Thanks Nathan Nah, the full res version is actually really blurred...it was too dark for a good shot. Just snapped this one-
-
Okay here's the second one re-edited -
-
Thanks again guys I think I'll play around with them again and see what I come up with...maybe reverse the editing and try some textures.
-
Thanks again for the feedback guys I kinda liked the loufa being there because it adds another shadow but I agree that it's a bit distracting. The second one was meant to be a bit dreamy and floaty as Serena said, while the first is more eerie. Think I will try playing around with textures and see how I go though. Someone else suggested the same The second is actually less processed

Not particularly unusual but I do love Jack's markings, plus his eyes make him a bit unique-
