If they were, there would be a whole lot of blind sibes walking around out there! Yep! And Border Collies, Malamutes, Aussie Sheps, etc, etc. -

A lot of people don't realise that heterochromia - two different coloured eyes - doesn't mean the dog is blind :D -
Promoting crossbreeds is against the forum rules just FYI.

If you have no luck here, you could try maybe PMing Becandcharch or ClickingMad -
Thanks guys, it was a really great night I sold one print and received a lot of nice comments and things. I think the turnout was good, too. Also, one of my old teachers happened to stop into the cafe today and left this note for me- "Hey Josie, Mr Weule here (you can call me Rob now). Here are a few photos I found from a few years ago...nothing to compare with your AMAZING images. Rob." So that was awesome And the photos he left me are hilarious, I must be about 9 in them, taken on some band trips. Anyway, here are some photos of the exhibition. They give the gist -

Mostly excited, although I don't like being the centre of attention Should be good, I'm excited to see how many people come. I think it'll be about 50. Will be sure to post pictures after tonight! I'm so happy with the prints too, the people we went through did a wonderful job. The colours are all spot on and the frames/mattes are lovely.

And the second one...yes, this was the intended shot Title- "Bubblegum bubble attempt: failed"-

I managed to get one done today, the eyedropper :D I'm happy with it. Yeah, it's pretty morbid...it was just the most creative idea I could come up with -

Thanks so much guys. I do hope to make some sales - even if just to cover the cost of everything - but the exposure alone will be great. The cafe is situated right next to Katoomba Falls so I'm hoping lots of tourists see it Possum, they've been matted and framed under glass The people we went through have been really wonderful and incredibly encouraging. We'll be doing the hanging ourselves with help from the gallery owner. All the fixtures and things are there so it's just a matter of getting them there and hanging them. And yes, will definitely be using my wide-angle to take shots of the gallery for everyone I haven't even seen it myself but the works will be spread out across 3 rooms. The winning ArtStreet image will also be displayed on its easel.

Hey guys, Not really posting much on here anymore but just wanted to share the news. As I think some of you know, I won the photography section of ArtStreet earlier in the year and my award was a photographic exhibition in a local gallery/cafe. Anyway, we've finally gotten around to arranging it and the opening night is on the 15th :D The theme was light and I won with this entry. Totally different to something I'd usually do but I tried to think outside the box as much as possible- Anyway, that was all The exhibition will be running for a month so if anyone in the Sydney area wants to come up and check it out, it would be hugely appreciated - (details here.) The general theme is plant macro (barring two insect ones)...I decided not to do any animals this time round. Haven't gotten all the prints yet but I think they'll turn out well Here's a small example of what'll be shown- Jose.

Hey guys, Really want to know how you can achieve really soft hues in your photos (through editing). I have a few shots I've wanted to do it with and have never really achieved it. This is the sort of thing I mean- http://www.redbubble.com/people/anniesnel/...-4-soft-fuchsia Just really gentle sort of colours...hope that makes sense. TIA.

Even 1 good shot makes it worth it IMO But they're all stunning. I love each of the ones of them on the log.
-
Nah it's very simple, you just upload all your best photos at max resolution and that's pretty much it You can choose to have them up for sale or not.
-
I'm with Bec. This is just WOW! It's just...I'm lost for words...I'd buy it as a print in a second It's seriously incredible Sam, love the whole set.
-
Thanks a lot guys, really appreciate it. Yeah Sam, they're daffodils Just two more that I didn't initially edit- I love how you can just see Lily in the background of the second one. I titled it Leader of the Pack.

Ugh they're gorgeous, I love those plants. Stunning photos!

The tripod can make a huge difference if you can be bothered to get it out. I've only used it once for a droplet shot They're both really gorgeous, so crisp.
