  2. I didn't actually try overlay or multiplying :p I forget about so many tools it has. Thanks for the suggestion, will give it a go! Absolutely love this!
  3. Ohh, of course I was thinking it was Anne (Pug Rescue). Have only ever really seen a photo of Fiery Di.
  4. Thanks Huga! Love that portrait shot Ripley, is that Fiery Di and PRS? The first passionfruit one is great too
  5. Good to see you joining in Huga Love the second one, the effect you've used is fabulous! A few shots from me today. "Why do you keep calling me and making me sit?" - Another random one that I liked- And another ant one I know, get over the ants already - Canon 1000D 100mm macro lens Shutter speed: 1/500 F number: 2.8 ISO: 800
  6. They're not crap, that collage is excellent! Really, really well done Haven't taken any today yet, though I did take this past 12am last night for my dA ID (obviously has had a bit of editing ) I was trying to be creative, I think it's turned out okay- ETA: Wanted to make the writing looked drawn on...I didn't really succeed

  8. Wow, that is one big stick insect It would've scared the crap out of me That plant is gorgeous, what is it? Edited to remove quoted photos again
  9. Thanks a lot Mag and CM Really love that CM, it's so simplistic!
  10. Thanks Kja! You can arrange photos in your 'sets' but not in your photostream (this is just a log of the order you uploaded photos). 1. Log onto flickr. 2. Click on one of your sets. 3. At the top, just above the name of your set there should be "arrange" 4. Click the little arrow next to it, then click on whichever you like (date taken, date uploaded, alphabetically, etc). Thanks so much Terra And thanks for that! I've arranged my sets already but was really hoping I could order the whole stream I guess it'll just have to stay messy
  11. Sorry, another noob Flickr question - Is it possible to arrange your entire album in order of date? I've uploaded them in a way so that they're all muddled I'm sorry to see a few people aren't able to participate at the moment ETA: Thanks AM! I really appreciate all the comments, they're very reassuring So sorry to hear about the Staffy boy, that's a gorgeous tribute.
  12. Wow, thank you so much guys! I was feeling a bit discouraged by the ones I'd taken today.
  13. Thank you so much Lea Actually had this one printed out and framed as a gift to my sister and her husband and it turned out really well - I think there's something about water drops that make for great prints - http://www.flickr.com/photos/ilovetobeyoung/3179249704/ Love that first shot of yours, what effect did you use on it?
  14. It's incredibly misty today so I took lots of rain drops shots Couldn't decide between these two- Canon 1000D 100mm macro lens Shutter speed: 1/512 F number: 2.8 ISO: 800 Check my Flickr Photostream for 10 or so others
  15. Thanks PM! I think manual takes a bit of getting used to but once you do it gives you so much more versatility Okay, here we go, I couldn't decide again - And Rosie our 13 year old cat who spends all her time sleeping in our front yard. She was completely unimpressed that I was taking photos of her rather than rubbing her belly. Please excuse her right eye - Canon 1000D 100mm macro lens Shutter speed: 1/320 F number: 2.8 ISO: 200
  16. This is great Have just taken some more shots that I'm much happier with, so will upload one soon as my official photo of the day Edited to remove quoted photo.
  17. It's going pretty well, am finding it a lot more fun now that I'm using manual focus Here's today's results, not really sure whether I like either of them - Canon 1000D 100mm macro lens Shutter speed: 1/125 F number: 2.8 ISO: 800
  18. I bought Shmoo one the other day and she's loved it so far. Will refer her to this thread if you like.
  19. Thanks a lot That first one is fabulous! Thanks so much
  20. Have had three separate attempts at today's photos, the first two of which completely failed. Tried to take some good ant shots again but I seem to be getting worse rather than better Then attempted to take some shots of smoke which turned out pretty poorly. Finally went out the back with the dogs and managed to get a couple of nice ones. So here we are- Canon 1000D 100mm macro lens Shutter speed: 1/400 F number: 2.8 ISO: 800 And another because I really like it- Canon 1000D 100mm macro lens Shutter speed: 1/400 F number: 3.5 ISO: 200 ETA: Love that one, Steph
