  1. No, that's just as long as my phone will record for. Will have a go with the 40D tomorrow. ETA: Wasn't there for you to determine anything though, just to give an example of her behaviour.
  2. Anna, that third cake is absolutely amazing! Did you make it? Moops, that cappuccino custard and rosemary focaccia looks divine! Could I get the recipe for the focaccia?
  3. There are some fabulous photos from today guys! Here's my looking up one, dodgy but had a very blah day-
  4. Here you go, pretty appalling quality but you can get the idea. This is how she acts when Dad's coming to the door. Excuse Scarlet's wooing - http://s176.photobucket.com/albums/w174/Il...nt=Video000.flv Will take another few when he's left It could very well be a case of misinterpretation, as I said earlier I really struggle to understand what's going on in her mind.
  5. Oh I know where you mean now, hehe. I'm not a car racing fan I do know who Peter Brock was though.
  6. Thanks very much all! Lea, absolutely love your 'look up' shot! Haven't heard of Mount Panorama, though Thanks CM! Yeah, I thought I should try to stick to the macro theme :p
  7. I will do that, I was going to suggest some photos but video would be better. Will PM you when I've made one
  8. Lea, love your last car shot, where was that taken? Andrew, your veggie shot is so cute! Love the selective colour BB, don't quite get what you've done but I like it :p Tlc, gorgeous waterscape! J, clever shadow shot :p Huga, absolutely love the shot and the collars :p Redangel, I like look up, the poodle is very cute Kirislin, love your doggy water one! Looks like you've captured a fun moment :D Vickie, I don't think it's boring at all, love the 'drawn' look it has. Love the corn one too, the selective colour is great.
  9. Tried something with a tomato today but as per usual it didn't work out properly :p So here's that one...I needed a juicer tomato- And then the proper one; a mushroom macro- Great photos everyone! Off to comment on them all
  10. Thanks! They all turned out incredibly orange so I thought it would be best to make them B&W I think I used the complete wrong aperture. ETA: That's so cute Chezz.
  11. It's not too late Bonnie, just dive in Mine didn't turn out nearly as well as I'd hoped I don't know enough about indoor photography and the dogs weren't very cooperative, hehe. Anyway, here we are; 'Dog portrait series' -
  12. Well, Michael didn't actually start the thread seeking advice on treating her, he requested advice or feedback on how he'd been handling her. I wasn't planning on self medicating either, I'm not that irresponsible - I simply asked whether rescue remedy would be beneficial and didn't receive a response. Anyway, as I said I'll try to arrange a session for her with Steve. Thanks.
  13. Thanks for the explanation CM I'll have to give that technique a go sometime!
  14. You haven't! Thanks for explaining it for me Thanks Steph Chelsea and Scarlet were getting a bit cranky with me but we got there
  15. I love that BB, really well done! May I ask how you took it? I love hearing people's techniques
  16. Thanks a lot BB! They were great models, hehe. Nah, totally brilliant shot! and an old term that gets thrown around at work a fair bit "TYD" (meaning: trust your dog! or dogs in your case) -- I have no idea how I'm going to approach this month I think I miss taking photos of Chester already and not sure if I can incorporate the themes?? And I had planned on concentrating on pics of Texas for February but I'm not sure if he is a little sedantary for the job? I don't know. I may still take pics of Chess for myself and do other stuff for here? or ?? Thanks so much CM I should remember to trust them more! I think you can definitely incorporate Chester into the themes, I've written down ideas for most of the themes and a few include the dogs. Don't think the photos need to be 'active' either and Texas is very photogenic I take photos for myself every day regardless, I'd attempt to incorporate him into the themes and if it doesn't work out there's always something else to try. ETA: Kirislin, I should, hehe. Chezz, love that bear shot, he's so cute! I think I have a bear from the 50s somewhere.
  17. Okay, apparently I have way too little faith in the dogs... - Hope this doesn't sound really immodest, but I'm in love with this shot! -- Lea, awesome shot, really original idea! Darien, that seat looks fabulously comfortable Twospirit, I love that, so creative!
