  1. Yeah, a TM - ™ Got bored with the old 'iltby' Hope so Rhi!
  2. Decided to have a play with the photos I took of a stray Mal...I'm pretty happy with them given they were fairly poor shots-
  3. So sorry Maria...RIP Buddy...he's a really stunning boy
  4. http://www.facebook.com/pages/iltby-photography/309783555085
  5. I think the same Erny...I caught a Husky the other week, too...but also female. Axle was a grey Husky, very light markings...very boofy.
  6. Was up the road having coffee when this girl raced past us...she wasn't with anyone so I sped after her and grabbed her. She has no collar but she looks well looked after so I'd say she's just gotten out from somewhere. Tried calling various vets, the RSPCA, pound, council, etc, and no one would help so she's in our shed in a crate for tonight. She's very placid, seems happy to do whatever...gave her some food and water, now she's just gone to sleep. Hopefully be able to find her owner tomorrow...unfortunately I don't have a microchip scanner to see if she's chipped.
  7. Ugh I seriously want to give Red a huge cuddle. Love the Easter Bunny shots...they look so similar.
  8. Wind flowers are awesome, love photographing them I think the orange one is a type of poppy. I think it's a bit of a bark on his nose I didn't want to flick it off and lose my model.
  9. Recognised Nik's pups straight away Fabulous photos!
  10. Thought I'd update this thread again. Took more photos of Misty today, I think I had more luck-
  11. Thanks Ruth, but she's already got a 50mm...I'd like to get her a pretty big upgrade.
  12. Hey guys, I'd really like to get my mum a proper macro lens, so I'm looking at the Sigma 105mm, the Tamron 90mm and the Tokina 100mm...I can't afford the Canon. Just wondering what the major differences are between the 3. Also, one of the Tokina ones has Pro D in the title and the other, for $100 less, doesn't...what does Pro D mean? TIA!
  13. Nah, we have 4...if one didn't remind us, one of the other 3 would They do get fasted on Mondays though...but they never seem to remember each time it comes around.
  14. Awww, thanks so much Lisa, much appreciated! I really like the one of the horses running but I think I could do much more with it...it's lacking.
  15. Thanks Perseph Wish I'd gotten a sharper shot but it was all over very quickly. That's a Chough bird. I love the ruby eyes (I call them ruby, not red as it makes him appear a little less '28 Days Later') I've never seen one but that is what it is. Great shot of him. eta: I like the way you've allowed him space - he looks like he was about to take off. With birds, some of the signs they are about to take off are they will stretch or poo and then off they go. Thanks for that Lynda, we'd figured it was a crow. He was actually feasting from a huge pile of dung and we interrupted him. Cheers Annie!
  16. Thanks very much again I ventured down there again today...thought I'd post the results here rather than create another thread. Still nothing brilliant but I had fun wandering around the Australian Heritage Centre. (how friggin' scary are those eyes?) (these two horses were having a little spat because the male was stealing the mare's food. This male horse was seriously the most stunning horse I've ever come across. He was absolutely HUGE and just gorgeous. Obviously had the run of the place) (really wish I'd gotten a better shot of these ones running)
  17. You could give bungee leads a try.
  18. That's so devastating...RIP Milo, poor boy Hope the owners are taken care of...they shouldn't be allowed to own dogs, period. Should be fined like crazy, too.
  19. I got the same one you did today...thanks for the heads up P.S: PM me if you'd like me to get you one.
  20. Thanks a lot for the feedback guys. Serena, I think I tried B&W but it sort of made the picture dull. Bad lighting or something I think. The 4th was mostly just a snapshot of a gorgeous dog I took so many horse shots that day but only 1 or 2 were nice. They're pretty hard to take when they're just standing around.
  21. Hi all, me again. Went on a big photo trip yesterday and took 160 photos...4 of which I edited. Just feel really uninspired by all of them, I dunno why. I was hoping to get some feedback or some suggestions on what I could do to them! And just cause I can, a gorgeous Staffy I ran into on Katoomba street- TIA
  22. I can has, yes? He's truly gorgeous Really happy for you.
