Mason always leaves his toys in the river, I have lost so many that i no longer bother to take any down with me I can count on Sophie to get the toys but she wasn't there this morning, she was babysitting Bear , the boys are hopeless . Awww, how sweet, Momma Bear was looking after Baby Bear Hey, I have lost way too many toys in the Swan as well ...... wonder where they all end up? Toy heaven or some lucky doggies living down Freo way :D

The cost to give it may be small but the cost for any adverse reaction may not be. Or the fact that your dog may or may not end up being protected anyway. You have to make the decision either way and then just be happy with it, regardless of what other people think. :D

I keep reading these kinds of statements but have never seen evidence of there being a number of strains and the vaccine only covering a certain number. Can you provide a source for this? I'm repeating what numerous different vets have told me about the KC vaccine over the last 8 years or so. I have no reason not to believe them, they have all been good vets and I have entrusted my dogs and foster dogs lives with them. I think from memory there are 38 strains and the vaccination only covers two. I guess it's a bit like the many strains of the human influenza virus, the annual vaccine covers one or two of the many strains one could succumb to. Your Dr is the best source for more information there. :D

All I can think of when I read about baby Bear is Mother Bear and Father Bear and that you must be Goldilocks Tiggy?! ;) Do you have any porridge??!! ;)

I say don't bother with the KC. It only covers two strains out of 40 odd strains ... I had one vaccinated dog get it and the unvaccinated dog NOT get it - they both drank out of the same water bowl, shared bones and slept on the same bed. Go figure. My puppy has had two lots of vaccinations, he will have a booster at 12 months old and then three yearly vaccinations afterwards until 8 years old, then nothing. I will give the KC vax if I need to kennel the dogs but otherwise it's no different to a common cold. It's great your vet has gone to the 3 yearly schedule!

My babble ball does that too! In the middle of the night once and it kinda scared me! So cute! Paddy used to try and get milk from Dougal too :D

I bought some boxes today ... and have gathered a few bits and pieces already. I don't know how strict the Post Office is about the 2kg weight .... it won't take much to reach that weight!

I sorted out a sandpit for th puppy last night (the cats think it's Xmas too! :p ) and I will sort out the paddling pool side of it this evening .... Ya reckon it will be OK to leave a 12 week old puppy outside under the patio on a 36 degree day? Or maybe I should crate him inside?

Your pool and close proximity to the beach will have us all green with envy come summer months :p

I emailed because 1000markets won't ship outside US and the tag maker (Nancy) directed me towards her etsy site which DOES ship to Australia. I hope someone can give you some advice to help you Vaders Mum. I don't think I'd be much good as my pup has been home 4 weeks now and I can't fault him. He does however follow me everywhere too but that doesn't bother me, I just do whatever I went to do. Maybe you could check with your breeder for some advice?
