  1. I'm sorry for your loss. :D RIP sweet Rusky
  2. I'm sorry for your loss vernie, he looks so beautiful. RIP Bailey.
  3. My condolences SheWolf. Thinking of you, I'm sure they were 16 very special years. RIP Chancey.
  4. They are sooooo beautiful. I am so lucky to know them. Bet some here might feel the same. (This is just a light-hearted and cheery post)
  5. I'd take him off all fatty foods in case he has pancreatitis. Some of the symptoms you describe are similar to when my lab got pancreatitis and fatty foods can make it worse. Anyway I do wish to scare you but a trip to the vets would be wise.
  6. Must be 17 now, I couldn't find this thread the other day....
  7. Post 49 bumped Good one Erny, I'll get some into the post as well.
  8. OK Here's the original version by Bette Midler, (the editing/ending of this one is not the best though.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6_s0QIbI94...feature=related Edited with new link
  9. Another song for Jed: The Rose Edited for better version/graphics
  10. Emails sent If this may help; email addresses for Brumby and Helper [email protected] [email protected] and the list Erny posted on page 1 http://www.parliament.vic.gov.au/council/d..._2010-03-10.pdf I hope they read their emails in the morning!!!!
  11. Thanks for posting this Erny. I'll try and piece together an email by the 20th (tomorrow), the clock's ticking!
  12. I tried a bigger tray at first and found it was too big; it scared her away and she wouldn't urinate. The take away container was just the right size for her.
  13. Hi Lynda, I had to get a urine sample from my dog a couple of months ago and found sneaking up behind her (Labrador) with a rectangular take away container worked best for me. I had to watch and wait a while though and missed catching her the first time. The next time the vet got one using a syringe directly into her bladder - much easier! Kaye
  14. I am so sorry to hear this very sad news. I'm also lost for words except to send some love and blessings to Jed who has always been a very respected and appreciated member here.
  15. Yes, agree with cavNrott. I hope Fern makes a swift and speedy recovery.
  16. I'm sorry for his owners with his passing being so unexpected . Run free dear boy, a very pretty boy too from that photo.
  17. I'm sorry for your loss Midniara and know how it feels from when I lost my beloved heart dog, nearly 6 years ago now. I am lost for words except to say it gets better but you never get over them. Time heals the heart for new visions. If Buddy was here I am sure he would want to lick your tears away. Sorry if this is silly: I just feel for you at this sad and difficult time and wanted to try and send some warmth. WhiteEagle RIP Buddy .
  18. I have no advice but can understand why you would feel absolutely gutted. I wish you all the best finding a working solution. I had labrador that went through a patch like this and after a while his behaviour calmed and he stopped doing it . He had one bad experience that set him off but it's a long story and I don't wish to hijack your thread with it.
  19. I'm so sorry halledaisy. I just read your thread and cried. RIP to your beautiful girl. Sending you and your family some blessings. K
  20. I am sorry to hear about Ralphie and hope he is over the worse now. If it helps at all my dog (6 year old Labrador) had pancreatitis last year and was in hospital for about five days. She was very depressed with it and would not eat or drink anything. I thought I was going to lose her but she recovered and has been ok so far. She has had some other problems which are still being investigated but on the whole she is now a bright and happy girl. I will be thinking of Ralphie.
  21. Maybe someone made a mistake; I got a 200g jar of Ilium Neocort for less than that from a local vet.
  22. Hi Sasha, sorry to hear about Halle. I saw your other thread in palliative care and want to send some blessings for her recovery.
  23. Some good reads in this thread. Thanks Steve for outlining the story behind the MDBA . I'll try to reply more to Rozzie's beaut suggestion later.........'cause dins is nearly ready .
